On Wednesday, Ring of Honor<\/strong> unveiled the launch of their own developmental system, similar to a recent move by IMPACT Wrestling<\/strong> with Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW)<\/strong><\/a> and as seen by WWE with their own NXT brands.<\/p>\n

ROH Announces New Developmental System<\/h1>\n

In a press release sent out on Wednesday, Ring of Honor stated:<\/p>\n

Ring of Honor ushered in a new era today with the official launch of its developmental system. Moses Maddox and Jasper Kaun both signed three-year deals to become the first two ROH developmental talents.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Maddox and Kaun began their training with\u00a0MCW Pro Wrestling in Maryland, an affiliate of ROH, and continued their training at the ROH Dojo.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Late last year, Maddox and Kaun participated in an ROH recruitment combine, where they caught the eyes of Ring of Honor officials. Their showing at the combine led to them being signed.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The next recruitment combine takes place on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5 at the ROH Dojo in Baltimore. For information on how to apply for the combine,\u00a0click here.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

ROH, which has its own training facility in the Ring of Honor Dojo, has recently established official training partners of late, including the famed Monster Factory<\/strong> in New Jersey, Bully Ray & Devon Dudley<\/strong>‘s Team 3D Academy<\/strong> in Florida, and MCW Pro in Maryland. This past December, Monster Factory owner and head trainer Danny Cage<\/strong> was announced as the Operations Manager for the Ring of Honor Dojo, who will work alongside head trainer Delirious<\/strong> and side coaches Will Ferrera<\/strong> and Jonathan Gresham<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The first signees were the MCW Pro tag team Sons of Savagery,<\/strong> whom we reported on signing this past weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n
