While Beyond Wrestling<\/strong> isn’t taking part in WrestleMania Week this year, it’s not because they’re sitting around doing nothing. One of the top indie promotions in the US, Beyond is preparing to launch it’s first ever weekly live program,\u00a0Uncharted Territory<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0<\/em>on Wednesday, April 3, the opening night of WrestleMania Week, and it’ll be debuting on its permanent home, IndependentWrestling.tv<\/strong><\/a> or on Fite.tv<\/strong> at 8pm EST.<\/p>\n

The Beaver Boys (John Silver & Alex Reynolds) Open Challenge<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Beaver Boys<\/strong> have been longtime Beyond staples, and John Silver & Alex Reynolds<\/strong> have won tag team titles in various indie promotions, including New York Wrestling Connection (NYWC), Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW)<\/strong> and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG)<\/strong>. The duo\u00a0looks to kick off\u00a0Uncharted Territory\u00a0<\/em>proving their dominance by issuing an open challenge. Who will step up and take on the veterans?<\/p>\n

AR Fox<\/strong>, alongside Ayla Fox<\/strong>, has been a thorn in the side to members of the EVOLVE<\/strong> roster with his stable The Skulk<\/strong>. The former EVOLVE Champion continues to be an elite level player on the US indies, including a stint with Lucha Underground<\/strong> as Dante Fox<\/strong>. He faces one of the breakout stars of 2019<\/a> in Kris Statlander<\/strong>, who has emerged as one to watch this year after, after defeating\u00a0Jordynne Grace\u00a0<\/strong>last month for the Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU)<\/strong> Spirit Championship.<\/p>\n

MJF<\/strong>\u00a0is one of the most unbearable heels on the indie scene today and his dastardly ways have\u00a0gained him a lot of attention and TV time, as a star with Major League Wrestling (MLW)<\/strong> and an early signee for\u00a0All Elite Wrestling (AEW).\u00a0<\/strong>The Ambassador of Arrogance will be stepping into the ring against a former CHIKARA<\/strong> Grand Champion and multi-time women’s champion in Kimber Lee<\/strong>, a longtime regular with CHIKARA, Beyond and many other indies (including a short stint with NXT as\u00a0Abbey Laith<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Another set of AEW stars in SoCal Uncensored (SCU)<\/strong>, as Kazarian, Daniels and Scorpio Sky prepare to face off against three longtime Beyond regulars. Team Pazuzu<\/strong> is a stable that features former IMPACT Tag Team Champions LAX<\/strong> (Ortiz & Santana), who regularly competed as EYFBO for years, as well as Doom Patrol<\/strong>‘s Chris Dickinson & Jaka<\/strong>. The trio of LAX and Dickinson will be facing off against SCU on Wednesday night to prove faction superiority in Beyond Wrestling.<\/p>\n

The main event features two wrestlers who span generations, as former ECW World Heavyweight Champion and 4x ZERO1<\/strong> World Heavyweight Champion Masato Tanaka<\/strong>, a 26-year pro and Japanese legend, faces off against newly crowned<\/a>\u00a0IPW World Heavyweight Champion<\/a> David Starr.\u00a0<\/strong>Tanaka has gone to extreme warfare before in his legendary battles since the 1990s, and while he’s a gifted technical wrestler, Starr is no stranger to the hardcore – his barbed wire match against Joey Janela<\/strong> at last year’s Beyond Americanrana ’18<\/em><\/strong> is a classic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
