It was an epic main event at the Wrestle Summit<\/strong> on Friday night, following a night where competitors from IMPACT Wrestling<\/strong>, Los Angeles’ PCW ULTRA<\/strong>, Seattle’s DEFY Wrestling<\/strong>, Iowa’s Wrestling Revolver<\/strong>, Australia’s Melbourne City Wrestling<\/strong>, and multiple Japanese and US freelancers battled it out over the course of the night. In the main event, PCW ULTRA Heavyweight Champion Shane Strickland<\/strong> put his title on the line against former Lucha Underground<\/strong> Champion Mil Muertes<\/strong>. It was a hard-hitting affair, as the stronger Muertes resisted most of Strickland’s attacks, although “Swerve” did get in some consider offense. But at the end of the match, the cloaked figure that had accompanied Muertes to the ring was unveiled to be Josef Samael<\/strong> of Warbeas<\/strong>t (aka Major League Wrestling<\/strong>‘s CONTRA<\/strong><\/a>), and Muertes defeated Shane Strickland to take home the top prize in PCW ULTRA.<\/p>\n
