The 31-year-old former punk rocker and guitarist with no athletic background began training at a wrestling school in Toronto (Squared Circle Training) with Rob Etcheverria and later Ashley Sixx and Derek Wylde, and while she admitted to being really bad at first, she continued training for the experience and has since “never looked back.”

Credit: All Elite Wrestling

In 2005, Allie, under the ring name Cherry Bomb, made her pro wrestling debut with Pure Wrestling Association, where she competed for three years, notably in a feud with 21st Century Fox. The two wrestled in the title match to determine the inaugural PWA women’s champion, which was won by 21st Century Fox. Allie wasn’t quite able to capture the title, though she did win her first championship in Classic Championship Wrestling, where she is former two-time women’s champion. In addition to PWA and CCW, Allie wrestled for Canada’s Great Canadian Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Xtreme, Capital City Championship Combat and Canadian Wrestling Revolution. In 2007, several months after winning the GCW W.I.L.D. championship, Allie suffered a neck injury that put her out of action for several months.

Returning to the scene, Allie continued to wrestle in her native Canada, and made her SHIMMER debut in 2008. She began to wrestle for Combat Zone Wrestling, SHINE and Squared Circle Wrestling primarily. The following year, after being used just sporadically by SHIMMER, Allie became a regular there, forming a tag team with Kimber Lee known as the Kimber Bombs. The two won tag gold in both SHIMMER and SHINE. Perhaps most notably, however, they engaged in a feud with Ontario’s Top Team (Courtney Rush and Xandra Bale), that has implications still to this day. Allie debuted in SMASH shortly after, tormenting Rush, who eventually snapped and became the demon Rosemary, who she is known as today. The two feuded for a year and eventually, both found themselves in IMPACT Wrestling where the saga, or rather the Dark War, is ongoing.

A regular with IMPACT, where she is a former two-time Knockouts Champion, since 2016, Allie’s main role upon joining the promotion was as Maria‘s assistant and punching bag to the newly formed Lady Squad (Maria, Laurel Van Ness and Sienna). When Sienna and Van Ness turned on Allie, she found an unlikely ally in Rosemary, where together the two teamed to wrestle in IMPACT and Global Force Wrestling. Allie and Rosemary were inseparable until Su Yung put Rosemary in a coffin and set it on fire. This angle led to Allie showing a darker side and eventually, sacrificing her own soul to go into the dark realm in search of her friend. She emerged a different person, Dark Allie, and it became Rosemary’s task to save her once again.

In 2018, Allie’s contract with IMPACT expired according to PWInsider and she did not resign, allowing her to sign with AEW today.
