To those who don&#8217;t watch wrestling, they may recognize him from his work with <strong>Troma Film<\/strong>s, such as the two\u00a0<em><strong>Return to Nuke &#8216;Em High<\/strong><\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>movies. But this twisted soul is also &#8220;Jersey&#8217;s Devil Deacon&#8221; in Capitol Wrestling and is as dark and demonic in pro wrestling as he is in Hollywood. He&#8217;s embroiled in a brutal best of 5 series with another emerging star in <strong>Darius Carter<\/strong>, a man who has risen the ranks with <strong>Beyond Wrestling, Tier 1 Wrestling<\/strong> (where he&#8217;s the reigning 2x Tier 1 Champion), <strong>Warriors of Wrestling (WOW)<\/strong> and much more. This series is getting down to the wire and on the biggest weekend of the year, these two will pull out every stop, especially Bowens, who is down 2-1 so far in the series.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Capitol Freestyle Championship: KC Navarro (c) vs. Australian Suicide<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_41750\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-41750\" style=\"width: 450px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-41750 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/D2BeGKBWsAA3o8M-e1553042354180.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-41750\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Capitol Wrestling<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>KC Navarro<\/strong> is one of New Jersey&#8217;s hot young stars and the four-year pro is already making waves in CZW. He&#8217;s the reigning Capitol Freestyle Champion and on Sunday he faces an Aussie international superstar in <strong>Australian Suicide<\/strong>, who has been making a name for himself in Mexico with AAA the past six years. The team of\u00a0<strong>Mark Davis\u00a0<\/strong>&amp;\u00a0<strong>Kyle Fletcher\u00a0<\/strong>are the reigning 2x <strong>ATTACK!<\/strong> Tag Team Champions, as well as former champs with <strong>PROGRESS, HOPE<\/strong> and 2x <strong>Defiant<\/strong> Tag Team Champions &#8211; they&#8217;re also the current tag champs in Germany&#8217;s <strong>Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw)<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>The Ugly Ducklings\u00a0<\/strong>are one of the US indie scenes most underrated tandems, and\u00a0<strong>Rob Killjoy\u00a0<\/strong>&amp;\u00a0<strong>Lance Lude\u00a0<\/strong>will be looking to make an impression. Despite not getting the same attention as many teams in the US, they&#8217;re the reigning <strong>FEST Wrestling<\/strong> Tag Team Champions and former 2x <strong>Premier Wrestling Xperience (PWX)<\/strong> Tag Team Champions and <strong>Rockstar Pro<\/strong> Tag Champs.\u00a0<strong>Hot Boiz International\u00a0<\/strong>is a newer team that combines old school with the new.\u00a0<strong>Lucky 13\u00a0<\/strong>is a 15-year pro who has spent the majority of his career in hardcore promotions like CZW (where he&#8217;s a 2x CZW World Tag Team Champion with\u00a0<strong>Danny Havoc<\/strong>) and <strong>Hardcore Hustle Organization (H2O)<\/strong>, where he&#8217;s the current reigning H2O Heavyweight Champion. He&#8217;s pairing with a young star in <strong>Eric Martin<\/strong>, who has also worked with CZW and spent some time earlier this year at the wXw Wrestling Academy in Germany.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Capitol Wrestling Championship: Matt MacIntosh (c) vs. Eddie Kingston vs. Sonny Kiss<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_42844\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-42844\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-42844\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/D202EEXXgAA9ae3-e1553967643717.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-42844\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Capitol Wrestling<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The reigning Capitol Champion, <strong>Matt MacIntosh<\/strong>, is another Jersey indie scene standout, who also started with PWS and moved over to WrestlePro, where he was also their champion for a while. On Sunday, he defends his title in a triple threat against two opponents who couldn&#8217;t be more different.<strong> Eddie Kingston<\/strong> is a 20-year veteran and former CHIKARA Grand Champion, IWA Mid South Heavyweight Champion and CZW World Heavyweight Champion who is as physical as they come. The other is <strong>All Elite Wrestling (AEW)<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong>Sonny Kiss<\/strong>, himself a New York\/New Jersey area breakout star, who brings youth and athleticism to the table for what should be a great contrast in three very different styles.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Special K (Slim J, Azrael &amp; Deranged) vs. Rising Sons (HC Loc, Colby Corino &amp; Jordan Oliver)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_42664\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-42664\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-42664\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/D2xERhaX4AIMMvU-e1553804007665.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-42664\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Capitol Wrestling<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Back in the earliest years of <strong>Ring of Honor<\/strong>, there was a rambunctious stable of young wrestlers who defied the laws of physics (and gravity) and helped launch a revolution in the US indies.\u00a0<strong>Special K\u00a0<\/strong>featured an impressive list of members, including\u00a0<strong>Joey Mercury, Jay Lethal,\u00a0<\/strong>and many more, as they captured the ROH World Tag Team titles in 2003. But by 2005, the squad had dismantled and they all went off on separate journies. But now, three of the original members are reuniting and bringing back that era of unpredictability and innovation back to the ring as <strong>Azrael<\/strong> (aka Angel Dust), <strong>Slim J<\/strong> and <strong>Deranged<\/strong> all reunite as Special K to remind the indie world who they are and where they came from.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Special K-Rising Suns Chapter 2: Witness the Rebirth of Special K\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/z3J_6mKDd_I?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>At Capitol&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Ready or Not<\/em>, they&#8217;ll be staring across the ring and an old foe. <strong>HC Loc<\/strong> was also around back in those days, and he ran with a rival gang in ROH called <strong>The Carnage Crew<\/strong>, that featured Loc and <strong>Tony Devito<\/strong>, who also won the ROH World Tag Team titles in 2005. For this war, Loc has found two younger soldiers.\u00a0<strong>Jordan Oliver\u00a0<\/strong>is one of CZW&#8217;s emerging young stars and the reigning CZW Wired Champion. He&#8217;s only 19 years old, but he&#8217;s also just signed with <strong>Major League Wrestling (MLW)<\/strong>.
