BELL TIME 7PM. LA Lucha has come out of the blocks quickly and this is their strongest card to date.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anthony Pastor<\/strong> is the owner of the company and has assembled a strong, dedicated team of wrestling fans who just want to build a great wrestling company. Pastor has always been a wrestling fan and wanted to run his own company. He told <strong>Last Word on Pro Wrestling<\/strong>, \u201cMy goal as an owner is to simply put on a good show with matches that have not been done before. Something different. I was a fan, still am.. I purchase front row all the time, I go to <strong>Mania<\/strong>\u00a0weekend, I travel to see <strong>Ring of Honor (ROH)<\/strong>, I&#8217;m in line at <strong>Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG)<\/strong>. I just decided to take things further and see what I could add to the mix. I even stepped into the ring and trained for a year in Lucha Libre before becoming an owner\/booker.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_40927\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-40927\" style=\"width: 386px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40927\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/D1k4i8kUYAAMgOp-e1552578851708.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"386\" height=\"500\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-40927\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: LA Lucha<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Not everything has been perfect for LA Lucha, but to Pastor\u2019s credit, his team has been transparent about mistakes. The Lucha Boss feels good going into <em>LUCHA 3:16<\/em>, \u201cMyself and the entire team feel very confident going into this weekend&#8217;s show. We&#8217;re still the new kids on the block but we&#8217;re getting a lot of positive feedback from fans and this looks to be our biggest draw since we started. Like any new company, we had a few roadblocks and issues to overcome but myself and<strong> CJ Dinero<\/strong> have made a huge effort to keep the boat moving.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joe DeFalco<\/strong>, the owner of Las Vegas indie powerhouse <strong>Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW)<\/strong> reached out to Pastor and his team to partner up and share talent. The companies are piggy-backing each other again this weekend after doing the same at the end of January. Pastor said the relationship with FSW has been critical to their success, \u201cThe deal with Joe DeFalco and FSW has put us in a good position to move forward a lot faster than we anticipated in terms of bringing in certain talent and expanding our dates for 2019 for future events.\u201d Pastor continued, \u201cFSW is a gold mine. Joe is a\u00a0real inspiration and his confidence in me is a real motivator. I love working with him he could have partnered up with anyone else in SoCal and I am very humbled that he is giving me and LUCHA an opportunity to help us grow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s easy to get in a long conversation with DeFalco because he\u2019s an Encyclopedia of information, but Pastor summed it up perfectly, \u201cHe is a good guy and I hope to be in business with him for a long time.\u201d LA Lucha is doing things well on their own too. They have a stacked card and have been willing to take their lumps to put the best product out they can. One surprise they had was, \u201cWe were invited to the EXPOLUCHA in San Diego for August so that&#8217;s something we didn&#8217;t anticipate but are very much looking forward too. We have a lot of options and we just need to pace ourselves. This is a marathon, not a sprint.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Lucha Battle Royal<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_40922\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-40922\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40922\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/D0rZtxMU4AAS7PQ-e1552578676504.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"386\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-40922\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: LA Lucha<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Featuring <strong>JC Watson, Phillip Arthur Classic, Bryn Thorn, Ana, Spyder, Viva Van, Aguila Azteca<\/strong> and many more. This is an opportunity for these young stars to show what they got under the bright lights of Los Angele. Watson is the <strong>Arizona Wrestling Federation (AWF)<\/strong> Arizona State Champion and has been very competitive in his recent matches in Las Vegas, Phillip Arthur Classic is the AWF UNLEASHED title holder, and Viva Van is one of the top young women&#8217;s grapplers out West, as well as Arizona&#8217;s Bryn Thorn.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Triple Threat: \u201cYoung Fuego\u201d Adrian Quest vs Trey Miguel vs Aeroboy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_40926\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-40926\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40926\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/D1FNpZ1U0AE-jpx-e1552578700983.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"386\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-40926\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: LA Lucha<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Three terrific high flyers that will get the DOJO rocking. Quest recently lost his shot at the <em><strong>Percy Pringle III Cup<\/strong><\/em> to <strong>Tyler Bateman<\/strong> in Hollywood, and a win here would get him back on track. However, <strong>IMPACT Wrestling<\/strong>&#8216;s<strong> Trey Miguel<\/strong> has a full schedule out west this weekend including Chris Bey in Vegas on Thursday and this match against two tough customers. The 28-Year-old\u00a0from Tulacingo, Hidalgo, Mexico <strong>Aeroboy<\/strong> makes his LA Lucha debut and looks to fly out with a win. He&#8217;s competed in <strong>Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), The Crash, Desastre Total Ultraviolento (DTU)<\/strong>, and <strong>IWA Mid-South<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Limitless Tournament Qualifier: Daniel Moon vs \u201cDirty\u201d Dom Kubrick<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_40928\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-40928\" style=\"width: 450px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40928\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/D1KvSXtVsAAta38-e1552578720475.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-40928\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: LA Lucha<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Limitless Tournament in April has been all the talk and we&#8217;ll find out two more Qualifiers on Saturday Night in Los Angeles. 2018 SoCal Rookie of the Year Kubrick arrives with the momentum, but Daniel Moon is certainly ready to make his own mark and a win over \u201cDirty\u201d Dom would go a long way towards that. Either guy would be dangerous in the tournament and the higher seeds wouldn&#8217;t want to see either opponent in their bracket.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Bomb Squad (Dylan Kyle Cox &amp; Cameron Gates) vs Koto Hiro &amp; Super Panda<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_40930\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-40930\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40930\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/D02NOZVU0AAqXgJ-e1552578739442.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"386\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-40930\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: LA Lucha<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One of the top young teams in SoCal look to continue their rapid ascension up the tag rankings against the Mexican veteran and another talented <strong>Santino Bros<\/strong>. product. Super Panda and Koto Hiro faced each other at Episode III with Panda getting his paw raised and now they team against the young flyers. The tag team division out west is deep and plentiful and The Bomb Squad are a team that&#8217;s capable of knocking off any of them.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Limitless Tournament Qualifier:<\/strong> <strong>Sonico vs \u201cChief\u201d Owen Travers<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_40921\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-40921\" style=\"width: 386px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40921\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/D0mztZaVsAE3urE-e1552578766485.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"386\" height=\"500\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-40921\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: LA Lucha<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Owen Travers<\/strong> is coming off a couple of tough losses and thus has to qualify for the tourney, and the Limitless Tournament Committee did him no favors pairing him with <strong>Sonico<\/strong>. The Seattle star would be an early favorite with a win over the former FSW No Limits Champion, but despite Travers recent setbacks, he&#8217;s still extremely dangerous. The Chief would love to battle all the way back and get his hands on the Limitless Tournament Championship.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>L.A. Street Fight: Ruby Raze vs Watts<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_40924\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-40924\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40924\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/D1bO7eGVAAAy3Rj-e1552578783749.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"387\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-40924\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: LA Lucha<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I wouldn\u2019t play \u201cPatty Cake\u201d with <strong>Ruby Raze<\/strong> much less face her in a Street Fight. Good luck Watts. This was one of the first matches announced and easily one of the most anticipated. Watts is familiar with these kinds of matches. He had a Backstage Brawl with Robert Baines last year in Championship Wrestling from Hollywood (CWFH) that wasn&#8217;t for the faint of heart, and if you didn&#8217;t see Ruby Raze reverse piledrive Delilah Doom through the table at\u00a0 Jolt&#8217;N Joe&#8217;s (FIST Combat) last year it&#8217;s easy to find. These two monsters are going to beat the crap out of each other and tear the place apart. Can&#8217;t wait.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Nick Gage vs Hammerstone<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_40925\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-40925\" style=\"width: 386px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40925\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/D1EsUJXUcAAyEB0-e1552578801984.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"386\" height=\"500\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-40925\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: LA Lucha<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>What a Match. Gage brings the worst out of his opponents in a very good way. I\u2019d love to see the more physical side of \u201cThe Business\u201d in the striking game because it\u2019s there and we already know he can slam and suplex the crap out of you. Hammer delivers short crisp punches and has a very violent mean streak. Sometimes it&#8217;s like he just plays with his food while he continues to beat up his opponent. That ain&#8217;t happenin&#8217; with ol&#8217; Nick Gage. This guy comes to fight and you better be ready. The meaner and uglier it gets the more he likes it.\u00a0This one could get nasty.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Teddy Hart vs \u201cUptown\u201d Andy Brown<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_40923\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-40923\" style=\"width: 386px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40923\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/D0YZRc6V4AAsawp-e1552578820764.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"386\" height=\"500\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-40923\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: LA Lucha<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Brown faced NWA American Champion<strong> Willie Mack<\/strong> last year, and now is booked with another major star in <strong>Teddy Hart<\/strong>. Hart is the <strong>Major League Wrestling (MLW) <\/strong>Middleweight and Tag Team Champion and comes out west for the big fight weekend. This will be a very entertaining match and Hart loves the aerial game which suits \u201cUptown\u201d just fine. Hart is wrestling royalty and he&#8217;s not flying out west just to pick up a check. The Hart&#8217;s wrestle to win, and Teddy&#8217;s no different. Brown may have the hometown advantage, but it&#8217;s hard to bet against that incredible talent, skill, and lineage. This one is great.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz &amp; Dezmond Xavier) vs Bonus Boyz (Clutch &amp; Sugar Brown)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_40920\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-40920\" style=\"width: 386px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40920\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/D0inllaUwAE3FVZ-e1552578836890.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"386\" height=\"500\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-40920\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: LA Lucha<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>IMPACT Wrestling\u2019s<strong> The Rascalz<\/strong> have a busy weekend out west and it continues with against the former FSW Tag Team Champions the <strong>Bonus Boyz<\/strong>. Wentz and Xavier are one of the best teams in the world (they&#8217;re the current reigning PWG World Tag Team Champions) and a win against the veterans would give them even more confidence heading into their Triple Threat Title Match at <em>MECCA IV<\/em> on St. Patrick\u2019s night in Las Vegas at Sam&#8217;s Town Live. The Rascalz face FSW Champs <strong>One Percent (Royce Isaacs &amp; Jorel Nelson) <\/strong>and<strong> Reno Scum (Luster the Legend &amp; Adam Thornstowe)<\/strong>, but they better not look past the Boyz. The Las Vegas Veterans returned from China in an unsuccessful attempt to regain the FSW Titles and would love to get the victory over this exciting team.
