The WWN main-guy faced-off against<strong> CMLL<\/strong> rising star<strong> Barbaro Cavernario<\/strong>, <strong>Sans\u00f3n<\/strong> and <strong>Willie Mack<\/strong> (the champion). Theory beat all odds and pinned Mack in his first defense ever of the championship. Cavernario was injured during the match. With the win, Theory has in his resume the <strong>Full Impact Pro<\/strong>, <strong>WWN<\/strong>, <strong>Evolve<\/strong> and The Crash Championship.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Austin Theory: A New Indie Standout\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Theory <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2018\/12\/27\/indie-watch-austin-theory\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">is rising fast in an independent wrestling<\/a> scene that needs fresh faces. The former bodybuilder has been on <strong>WWE<\/strong>&#8216;s radars since joining<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>the\u00a0<strong>World Wrestling Network\u00a0<\/strong>family, winning gold in EVOLVE and\u00a0<strong>Full Impact Pro<\/strong>. He started to appear in The Crash Lucha Libre back in 2018, after losing to Rey Horus. After more losses against <strong>Flip Gordon<\/strong> and <strong>Mecha Wolf 450<\/strong>, Theory found a winning streak. He previously defeated <strong>Barbaro Cavernario<\/strong> and had victories over CMLL&#8217;s <strong>Soberarno Jr.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In America, Theory has successfully defended his EVOLVE championship and just recently went face-to-face with former <strong>NXT<\/strong> North American Champion, <strong>Johnny Gargano<\/strong>. He&#8217;s expanding his horizon and working closely with WWN might improve his chances of joining the biggest wrestling company in the world, WWE.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Crash in the Future<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>With Theory, The Crash reshapes their line-up after announcing a partnership with <strong>All Elite Wrestling<\/strong>, <strong>New Japan Pro Wrestling<\/strong>, <strong>Ring of Honor<\/strong> and <strong>Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre<\/strong>. The company previously was the only game in town to see New Japan talent that CMLL rejected, like <strong>Ricochet<\/strong>, the <strong>Young Bucks<\/strong> and <strong>Zack Sabre Jr.<\/strong> Moreover, CMLL talent has been increasingly working with them, even though they are in the same country. On Friday, the only talent from ROH was Television Champion, <strong>Jeff Cobb<\/strong>. While NJPW had representation from <strong>Michael Elgin<\/strong>. ECW-Original Sabu was a special attraction.
