Back on February 19, <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/02\/20\/breaking-tye-dillinger-requests-release-from-wwe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dillinger revealed he had requested his release from the WWE<\/a> after a second 6-year run with the company. On February 22, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/02\/22\/tjp-released-from-wwe-hideo-itami-and-tye-dillingers-granted\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WWE granted that request<\/a>. On March 1, Dillinger &#8211; now back to his former indie name of <strong>Shawn Spears<\/strong> &#8211; revealed that he was now taking bookings for after May 31st as well as limited signings before.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Ok, under 2 weeks out and my excitement is already building. There is always an outside chance that he has agreed in private to appear at <em>Double or Nothing<\/em> &#8211; the weekend prior to May 31st &#8211; which means that he is taking bookings from that date onwards simply because he is already booked for his first available weekend. AEW&#8217;s <strong>Cody Rhodes<\/strong> is close friends of Shawn Spears from their WWE days together and initially offered his support to his friend upon requesting his release.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Fearless.
