{"id":39513,"date":"2019-02-28T21:57:11","date_gmt":"2019-03-01T02:57:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/?p=39513"},"modified":"2019-02-28T21:57:11","modified_gmt":"2019-03-01T02:57:11","slug":"karen-q-makes-nxt-live-debut","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2019\/02\/28\/karen-q-makes-nxt-live-debut\/","title":{"rendered":"Karen Q Makes NXT Live Debut"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this month, <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/02\/11\/meet-the-new-recruits-for-the-february-class-at-the-wwe-performance-center-videos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WWE announced their next class at the WWE Performance Center<\/a>, and it featured indie superstars like <strong>Trevor Lee, ACH, Jonah Rock<\/strong>, and <strong>Rachael Ellering<\/strong>. But it was former<strong> Ring of Honor<\/strong> star <strong>Karen Q<\/strong> that hit the NXT Live Event circuit first out of the class, as she made her NXT live debut at an event in Tampa, Florida. She debuted in a tag team match, teaming with <strong>Lacey Evans<\/strong> against the new tandem of <strong>Aliyah<\/strong> and <strong>Vanessa Borne<\/strong>. The new TV heel team got the win and after their loss, Karen turned on Lacey and took her out.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/JJWilliamsWON\/status\/1101307260897320962<\/p>\n<p>A member of <strong>Team Adams<\/strong>, trained by <strong>Damian Adams<\/strong>, she began in 2014 and made her first mark with <strong>Victory Pro Wrestling (VPW)<\/strong> in New York. Over the next two years, she expanded her indie resume working with <strong>Beyond Wrestling, Women&#8217;s Wrestling Revolution, Game Changer Wrestling<\/strong>, and Delaware&#8217;s <strong>East Coast Wrestling Association (ECWA)<\/strong>, winning the VPW and ECWA Women&#8217;s titles.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"[Free Match] Jonathan Gresham vs. Karen Q | Beyond Wrestling vs. WWR #LitUp (Intergender Mixed ROH)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pn4FAVd6WaY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In June of 2017, she debuted in Ring of Honor&#8217;s revamped <strong>Women of Honor<\/strong> division, winning her television debut in a triple threat against <strong>Deonna Purrazzo<\/strong> and former WOH World Champion <strong>Kelly Klein<\/strong>.
