Two titles will be on the line as well as many of the top middleweights on the roster auditioning for the next shot at Champ <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/01\/14\/teddy-hart-to-compete-at-fsws-mecca-iv-event\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Teddy Hart<\/strong><\/a>. The sicario for <strong>Selina DeLaRenta<\/strong> has won his last two times in an MLW ring against <strong>Gringo Loco<\/strong> and most recently <strong>Fred Yehi<\/strong>. Martinez is a tall order for the youngster in his debut, but he has the advantage of obscurity which could lead him to the upset.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Gringo Loco vs. Myron Reed<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39299\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39299\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39299\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/D0CGo5EW0AEIfgC-e1551147996650.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39299\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: MLW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The \u201cSouthside Chicago Luchador\u201d <strong>Gringo Loco<\/strong> comes home to face another top Middleweight in <strong>Myron Reed<\/strong>. Loco has split his last two results dropping one to Ricky Martinez and rebounding with a wild win against <strong>Puma King<\/strong> in Philadelphia by connecting on a Spanish Fly from the top turnbuckle to get the three-count. Reed has won two straight in different fashion beating <strong>Ace Austin<\/strong> on a mistake by his opponent that got him rolled up, and Reed grabbed <strong>DJZ<\/strong>\u2019s tights to get the win at the 2300 Arena. The winner of this one certainly can make a claim to be next in line for the Middleweight Champion.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Puma King vs. Hijo De LA Park (w\/ Salina De La Renta)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39364\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39364\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39364\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/D0WPpNUWoAEW-g2-e1551224785572.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39364\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: MLW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Two second-generation luchadores meet in Chicago and both need a win. Puma King is coming off a tough loss to Gringo Loco in Philly and looks to rebound against Hijo.<strong> Sammy Guevara<\/strong> and DJZ can be counted among Hijo\u2019s wins in MLW, and a win against his countryman would continue his progression towards another Middleweight Title shot.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Battle Riot Qualifying Match: DJ Z vs. Ace Austin<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39363\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39363\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39363\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/D0WPpNTXgAAJHoU-e1551224819142.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39363\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: MLW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Myron Reed\u2019s last two MLW opponents compete for a shot in <em><strong>Battle Riot<\/strong><\/em>. This is a great match no matter where it is. These two great young stars will fly all over the Stadium Saturday night to secure the valuable spot. <strong>Ace Austin<\/strong> rebounded from his loss to Reed by surprising veteran <strong>Rich Swann<\/strong> with a pinfall victory last time out.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Brian Pillman Jr. vs. Alex Hammerstone<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39302\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39302\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39302\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/Dz9LqSgWsAEmhGI-e1551148012495.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39302\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: MLW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A little surprised to see this match so quickly, but <strong>Hammerstone<\/strong> didn\u2019t come to MLW to wrestle a bunch of jobbers. He wants the best. <strong>Brian Pillman Jr.<\/strong> has been at the top of his game since bursting on the scene last year, but Hammerstone isn\u2019t your normal rookie. The 251 pounder from Arizona decimated <strong>Ariel Dominguez<\/strong> in his debut, and a win over Pillman Jr. would immediately put him in position for a title shot. The same goes for the second generation star who\u2019s ready to make a major run of his own, and he would be in line for Lawlor after also dominating <strong>Tommy Dreamer<\/strong> in their recent feud.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Death Match: LA Park (w\/ Salina De La Renta) vs. Mance Warner<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39305\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39305\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39305\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/Dz9Q_InXcAAyk0D-e1551148033949.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39305\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: MLW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Thank you MLW Competition Committee. What a match. <strong>Mance Warner<\/strong> would fight like this for free, and the same can be said for the Mexican legend <strong>LA Park<\/strong>. These two will rip each other apart and the match doesn\u2019t begin for Mance until he starts bleeding\u2026should be a good one.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. &amp; Fenix, w\/ Konnan) vs. Team AAA (Taurus &amp; Laredo Kid)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39306\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39306\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39306\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/Dz9QJ6UW0AMi0uC-e1551148047385.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39306\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: MLW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Whatever happens, please don\u2019t unmask Pentagon Jr. again or one of our dedicated and talented writers will lose her bloody mind\u2026Please. Anyway, the <strong>Lucha Bros<\/strong> are embroiled elsewhere in feuds and must maintain focus against <strong>Team AAA<\/strong>, or they could miss the pay window again. Fenix and Pentagon are possibly the best team in the world, it\u2019s a match they should win, and this is a match they have to win. They\u2019ve been on the receiving end of several beat downs recently, so it\u2019ll be interesting to see where their heads are and what they have in the tank for this one.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>MLW World Tag Team Championship: The Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart &amp; Davey Boy Smith Jr., w\/ Brian Pillman Jr.) vs. MJF &amp; Richard Holliday<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39304\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39304\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39304\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/Dz9PTnWW0AAom6y-e1551148063298.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39304\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: MLW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Teddy Hart beat MJF to retain his MLW Middleweight Title, but he was attacked post-fight by <strong>Richard Holliday<\/strong> and his new partner\u00a0<strong>Maxwell Jacob Friedman<\/strong>. MJF wants the Middleweight title, but taking the tag Championship would suit him just fine. <strong>Davey Boy Jr<\/strong>. is the equalizer, and <strong>Tommy Dreame<\/strong>r is still feeling the powerbomb he got in South Philly February 2<sup>nd<\/sup>. We&#8217;ve got a sneaky suspicion this one\u2019s just starting, and you know it.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>MLW World Heavyweight Championship Steel Cage Match: &#8220;Filthy&#8221; Tom Lawlor (c) vs. Low Ki (w\/ Salina De La Renta)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39303\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39303\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39303\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/Dz9OvJzXQAACKyD-e1551148078125.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39303\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: MLW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This has been a great feud all the way around. These two guys bring the best out of each other and inside a cage will be no different. The big story this week was that the former World Champion <strong>Low-Ki<\/strong> closed off his camp in Puerto Rico from any media as he prepares for what could be the biggest match of his long career. Lawlor fought like hell to win this Championship and the former UFC fighter is more than comfortable inside a steel cage. Lawlor doesn\u2019t want this match to be pretty, but we know that Low-Ki isn\u2019t above anything when it comes to winning the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.
