They&#8217;ve had <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/02\/22\/phil-baroni-davey-boy-smith-jr-and-more-added-to-josh-barnetts-bloodsport\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a series of entrants revealed for <em><strong>Josh Barnett&#8217;s Bloodsport<\/strong><\/em> <\/a>the past few weeks, but this week saw a flurry of names announced for the crown jewel of their week, <em><strong>Joey Janela&#8217;s Spring Break 3<\/strong><\/em> (which is now a two-night affair). They&#8217;ve previously announced 90s WWF character <strong>Mantaur\u00a0<\/strong>and former WWF Light Heavyweight Champion\u00a0<strong>Essa Rios\u00a0<\/strong>(who still competes in AAA as Mr. Aguila) for night two&#8217;s Greatest Clusterf**k Battle Royal,\u00a0while hardcore legend <strong>Necro Butcher<\/strong>, indie legend <strong>Slim J<\/strong> and WWE Hall of Famers <strong>The Rock N\u2019 Roll Express\u00a0<\/strong>are slated to appear in regular matches over the course of the\u00a0<em>Spring Break\u00a0<\/em>event.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>&#8220;Unbreakable&#8221; Andy is Headed to Spring Break<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39051\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39051\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39051\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/D0BmSMiX0AAEkpk-e1550893019355.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39051\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>While not a household name, even to indie wrestler fans, <strong>&#8220;Unbreakable&#8221; Andy<\/strong> is one of the wrestler&#8217;s wrestlers, an indie veteran who <strong>Joey Janela<\/strong> described in his announcement tweet as &#8220;an underground legend talked about in many locker rooms across the world&#8221;. Andy originally wrestled for the likes of <strong>Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW)<\/strong> and <strong>Hybrid Wrestling<\/strong> before he took a sabbatical from pro wrestling for a few years from around 2011 to 2013. He now works primarily for his home state Pennsylvania&#8217;s <strong>TRUE Wrestling<\/strong>, but also works New Jersey&#8217;s <strong>On Point Wrestling<\/strong> and has recently begun working for GCW with more frequency.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"&quot;Unbreakable&quot; Andy Harner compilation Music Video!\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tZy08NR68rg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Australian Suicide is Heading to Spring Break 3<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39052\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39052\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39052\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/Dz31MjMXcAAQ2kZ-e1550893036765.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39052\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This year&#8217;s Spring Break has an underlying theme of pushing some of the unheralded indie veterans who have influenced bigger stars throughout their career, with the likes of Slim J, Necro Butcher and &#8220;Unbreakable Andy&#8221; (and in a way a well-known but still vastly underappreciated Rock N&#8217; Roll Express) and they continued by announcing the participation of Victoria, Australia&#8217;s <strong>Australian Suicide<\/strong>. Originally trained by <strong>Carlo Cannon<\/strong> in Australia, then further educated by <strong>Lance Storm<\/strong> in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and <strong>Gran Apache<\/strong> in Mexico, Australian Suicide debuted in his native Australia in 2003 and ten years later was working for the likes of <strong>Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW), Riot City Wrestling (RCW)<\/strong> and <strong>Pro Wrestling Australia (PWA)<\/strong>. He headed to Mexico in 2013 and has been a standout with AAA ever since, recently joining the English commentary for AAA events alongside <strong>Vampiro<\/strong>. An appearance at\u00a0<em>Joey Janela&#8217;s Spring Break 3<\/em> could be just the launching pad for Australian Suicide to make waves on the US indie scene in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Y1gFfcnqGfk<\/p>\n<h3><strong>First Deathmatch Comes to Spring Break<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39053\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39053\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39053\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/Dz81DEDXgAAtuKq-e1550893052844.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39053\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>While past\u00a0<em>Spring Breaks\u00a0<\/em>have had hardcore matches &#8211; such as the first one&#8217;s <strong>Matt Tremont<\/strong> vs. <strong>Eddie Kingston<\/strong> or last year&#8217;s <strong>Nick Gage<\/strong> vs. <strong>Pentagon Jr.<\/strong> or <strong>PCO<\/strong> vs <strong>WALTER<\/strong> &#8211; they&#8217;ve yet to have a good ol&#8217; fashioned deathmatch. Well, that changes for the third chapter when the Prince of American Hardcore <strong>Jimmy Lloyd<\/strong> puts his body on the line against Japanese hardcore veteran <strong>Masashi Takeda<\/strong>. Lloyd has improved a hundredfold in the past year, dropping some weight and embracing his athleticism with his understated power and threshold for pain. Takeda is a 10-year veteran of <strong>Big Japan Wrestling (BJW)<\/strong>, where he&#8217;s a former 2x BJW Tag Team Champion and held the BJW Deathmatch Championship for a whopping 449-days. He&#8217;s also a regular with <strong>Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS<\/strong>, where he&#8217;s a former 2x King of FREEDOMS Champion and has also won gold in DDT Pro, and in Mexico with\u00a0<strong>Desastre Total Ultraviolento (DTU)<\/strong> as a DTU World Extreme Champion.
