While not just a clever nod to <strong>Evil Dead<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong>Ash<\/strong>, it also signals a very special appearance by former seven-time NWA World&#8217;s Heavyweight Champion and WWE Hall of Famer <strong>Harley Race<\/strong>. Race&#8217;s appearance is just the cherry on top for a fun and stacked indie card.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Duke, Dr. Daniel C. Rockingham &amp; The Party Never Stops (Big Twan Tucker &amp; Parker Pierce) vs. Kikutaro, Ryder Reid, Weird World\u00a0(Alex Kellar &amp;\u00a0Evan Adams)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38750\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38750\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-38750\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/DzX2BL_WwAAoXlW-e1550546443149.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"350\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-38750\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AIW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A huge 8-man tag team as some carryover resentments from December&#8217;s <em><strong>Welcome to the Party Pal<\/strong><\/em> lead to another huge matchup. <strong>The Duke<\/strong>&#8216;s tandem <strong>Duke Money<\/strong> (Jock Samson &amp; Mance Warner) were on the losing end of a similar match then, losing to <strong>Kikutaro<\/strong>&#8216;s squad of misfit toys, and this time the Duke is leading the pack himself. <strong>Dr. Daniel C. Rockingham<\/strong> rejoins Duke&#8217;s team, but this time they&#8217;re joined by <strong>The Party Never Stops<\/strong>. <strong>Big Twan Tucker<\/strong> of TPNS has teamed with Duke&#8217;s crew before and this time he&#8217;s joined by his usual tag partner, <strong>Pierce Parker<\/strong>. They&#8217;re facing a new squad lead by Kikutaro that features <strong>Weird World<\/strong>, who have faced The Party Never Stops before, at last May&#8217;s <em><strong>Chandler Biggins Memorial Tag Team Tournament<\/strong><\/em>, and in January of 2018&#8217;s <em><strong>Death Rowe<\/strong><\/em>. They&#8217;re joined by an emerging star who has worked for both AIW and <strong>IWA Mid South<\/strong> in the past year in <strong>Ryder Reid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Louis Lyndon vs. TKD<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38743\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38743\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-38743\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/Dy_-3N_UYAAwCB9-e1550546406621.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"350\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-38743\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AIW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Louis Lyndon<\/strong> is an AIW and Midwest legend, a 13-year pro who has done it all. A former AIW Intense Champion and 2x AIW Tag Team Champion in <strong>Aeroform<\/strong> with <strong>Flip Kendrick<\/strong>, the 33-year old will be looking to continue his legacy as he faces a young star in <strong>TKD<\/strong>, who has been rising the ranks of AIW the past year.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Zach Thomas vs. Danhausen AD vs. Wes Barkley vs. Takeshi Minamino<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38746\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38746\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-38746\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/Dyuo0WaXcAAR6Lk-e1550546548516.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"350\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-38746\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AIW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Three of AIW&#8217;s brightest emerging stars take on a Japanese veteran in Fatal Four Way action. <strong>Zach Thomas<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Wes Barkley<\/strong> are both rising stars, while <strong>Danhausen AD<\/strong> is emerging as one of the bright spots from The Production waiting to break out. <strong>Takeshi Minamino<\/strong> is a 15-year veteran of <strong>Michinoku Pro Wrestling (MPW)<\/strong> in Japan, who also wrestles for <strong>All Japan\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>Big Japan Wrestling<\/strong>. Also known by his alter ego <strong>HAPPY MAN<\/strong>, he made his US debut last year with <strong>Bar Wrestling<\/strong> and <strong>Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)<\/strong> and looks to continue his US tour with a stop in the Midwest.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Pick Your Poison: Kevin Thorn vs. Dominic Garrini<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38748\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38748\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-38748\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/DzP1O7tX0AIC3SL-e1550546479800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"350\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-38748\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AIW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Joshua Bishop<\/strong> and <strong>Dominic Garrini<\/strong> have embroiled in a bitter feud that has lead to this evening and their Pick Your Poison matches, where each man chooses the other&#8217;s opponent. Dominic Garrini really came into his own last year with <strong>EVOLVE Wrestling<\/strong>, as a member of <strong>Catch Point<\/strong>, before starting <strong>Sadkampf<\/strong> with <strong>Kevin Ku<\/strong>. But in AIW on Saturday, he&#8217;ll be going at it alone. His opponent for the evening is a former WWE Superstar with darkness running through his veins. Originally known as <strong>Mordechai<\/strong>, he became better known as <strong>Kevin Thorn<\/strong> during his appearance with WWE&#8217;s rebooted ECW.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Pick Your Poison: Joshua Bishop vs. &#8220;Filthy&#8221; Tom Lawlor<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38751\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38751\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-38751\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/DzYUWEMXQAA-ro9-e1550546460575.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"350\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-38751\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AIW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>While Bishop chose a Prince of Darkness for Garrini&#8217;s opponent, Garrini has gone a more physically demanding route, choosing current reigning <strong>Major League Wrestling (MLW)<\/strong> World Heavyweight Champion and former UFC fighter &#8220;Filthy&#8221;<strong> Tom Lawlor<\/strong> as Bishop&#8217;s opponent on Saturday night. Lawlor has emerged as a top indie star out of a strong 2018, and he won&#8217;t be intimidated by the brash bravado of Joshua Bishop, whose stock has been rising considerably since he debuted in AIW in 2017.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Britt Baker vs. Tasha Steelz<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38745\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38745\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-38745\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/Dya7KP4X0AAuA8F-e1550546425727.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"350\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-38745\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AIW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>All Elite Wrestling<\/strong>&#8216;s first women&#8217;s signing, <strong>Britt Baker<\/strong>, returns to AIW for the first time since last August, when she defeated <strong>Allie Kat<\/strong> at <em><strong>AIW WrestleRage 3<\/strong><\/em>. As a focal point for AEW&#8217;s women&#8217;s division, expect big things out of the DDS this year. She&#8217;s facing one of the fastest rising women&#8217;s stars right now in New Jersey&#8217;s <strong>Tasha Steelz<\/strong>, who has built a solid name for herself with work in <strong>Women&#8217;s Wrestling Revolution (WWR), Chaotic Wrestling, RISE<\/strong> and <strong>Ring of Honor<\/strong>&#8216;s Women of Honor.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>AIW Intense Championship: Matthew Justice (c) vs. Wheeler YUTA vs. Tre Lamar<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38749\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38749\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-38749\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/DzsqE8FXgAEA8rA-e1550546499128.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"350\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-38749\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AIW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Last November, <strong>Matthew Justice<\/strong> defeated <strong>Tim Donst<\/strong> for the AIW Intense Championship at <em><strong>AIW Hell On Earth 4<\/strong><\/em>, and last month defended it against <strong>KTB<\/strong> in a slugfest. This Saturday, the big man will put it on the line in a triple threat match against two wrestlers looking to break out nationally in 2019. <strong>Wheeler YUTA<\/strong> got a nice pop in the WWE recently, when <strong>Drew Gulak<\/strong> suggested that <em><strong>205 Live<\/strong><\/em> General Manager <strong>Drake Maverick<\/strong> check out his file, but fans of MLW, <strong>Beyond Wrestling, CHIKARA<\/strong>, AIW and more have known of his prowess for a couple of years now. <strong>Tre Lamar<\/strong> is part of the <strong>No Consequences<\/strong> stable that also includes Joshua Bishop, <strong>AJ Gray<\/strong>, and other rising AIW stars, and he gets a big singles shot being added to the title match.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>AIW Absolute Championship: &#8220;Hot Sauce&#8221; Tracy Williams vs. PB Smooth<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38747\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38747\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-38747\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/Dyw7pd-V4AEKx5K-e1550546518844.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"350\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-38747\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AIW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8220;Hot Sauce&#8221; <strong>Tracy Williams<\/strong> ended 2018 on a high note, signing with Ring of Honor after a lengthy run in EVOLVE to join <strong>Juice Robinson<\/strong>&#8216;s new stable <strong>Lifeblood<\/strong>. But in AIW, he&#8217;s been Absolute Champion for over 200 days and on Saturday will put that title on the line once again. He&#8217;s fought off challenges from\u00a0<strong>Matt Cross, Eddie Kingston,\u00a0<\/strong>Joshua Bishop,\u00a0and former Catch Point teammate Dominic Garrini, but on Saturday he faces a giant in the seven-footer <strong>Pretty Boy &#8220;PB&#8221; Smooth<\/strong>.
