WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry<\/strong> was recently a guest on the Not Sam Wrestling podcast, where he revealed that he will be taking on another role within the WWE. It’s not a new position and it’s one he’s had before, but he revealed he’ll be returning to the WWE locker room, but not as an active wrestler. He’ll be returning as a locker room leader to oversee disputes, discipline and other aspects, something that’s been missing according to Henry himself. While Henry states he’s not officially retired as an in-ring performer, his last WWE match was at the Greatest Royal Rumble<\/strong><\/em> last spring.<\/p>\n

As Henry told the podcast, Henry will be on the road with the WWE, starting off at the PPVs. \u201cI will be at all PPVs now. This is really new, like in the last two weeks,” he said. “Every PPV there\u2019s going to be issues with people in the locker room. We\u2019re going to re-establish the leadership chain of command.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMe being gone this last year and a half, there\u2019s a lot of stuff that\u2019s happened in the locker room that would\u00a0have never happened under my watch,\u201d the former World Heavyweight Champion went on to continue. \u201cPeople arguing and fussing about stuff. There\u2019s been some disrespecting my wife or my girlfriend type of stuff. There\u2019s been a couple of people been habitually late, which Vince hates, but he don\u2019t have Taker<\/strong> or me. Booker<\/strong>\u2019s not there, only at TV. Big Show<\/strong>\u2019s been injured. All the guys that\u00a0hold\u00a0people\u2019s face to the fire is not there.\u00a0That shit is gonna come to an abrupt stop. Because I will be at all pay-per-views now. We\u2019re gonna re-establish the chain-of-command. People used to call it \u201cthe stooges\u201d. You can call me whatever you wanna call me. But what you won’t do is make the business look bad.\u201c<\/p>\n

As far as being a “stooge”, Mark Henry has no problem going to Vince McMahon is problems persist the way they have. “One: I ain\u2019t scared of nobody whooping my ass and Two: I\u2019ve been there and done that enough where I know if I go to Vince and say, \u2018Hey, he don\u2019t respect nothing. His ass needs a fine. Maybe he\u2019ll respect $1,500 taken out of his check.\u00a0I did and I will do it again. The next time you\u2019re late, it will go up probably by $200, so I suggest you get there early. That\u2019s the conversations that will be had in the next year. You\u2019ve got to be responsible. I don\u2019t want the business to suffer because of one or two people not respecting it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Looks like the WWE Locker Room is about to become Henry’s new Hall of Pain.<\/p>\n
