These cards are a delicate mix of wrestling and debauchery. The Bar Wrestling cards are not only popular with SoCal fans but have attracted the attention of AEW, as <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/01\/18\/aew-crashes-bar-wrestling-hilarity-ensues-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">they showed up at their most recent event<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>RockNES Monsters &amp; Watts &amp; Tyler Bateman vs Ray Rosas, Ryan Taylor, Brandon Cutler, Joey Ryan<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_37096\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-37096\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-37096\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DyMxxBoUwAIDrUE-e1548897995985.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-37096\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Bar Wrestling<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This match could go a million different ways when you look at the participants. That\u2019s always the case with the \u201cKing of Dong Style\u201d <strong>Joey Ryan<\/strong>. <strong>Ray Rosas<\/strong> is more controlled when not teaming up with <strong>Peter Avalon<\/strong>, <strong>Brandon Cutler<\/strong> is one of the great stories in California wrestling history, and nobody ever knows what <strong>Ryan Taylor<\/strong> is thinking. The <strong>RockNES Monsters<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/01\/29\/andnew-rocknes-monsters-become-4x-champs-in-hollywood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recently beat Double Platinum to become four-time UWN Tag Team Champions<\/a>\u00a0and team with the powerhouse <strong>Watt<\/strong>, and \u201cThe Goddamn Man\u201d <strong>Tyler Bateman<\/strong> who never mails it in. No matter what kind of show he\u2019s in you get 100% aggression and effort. A pleasure to watch.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Luchasaurus vs Aaron Solow vs Jungle Boy vs Andy Brown<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_37091\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-37091\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-37091\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DxJ7PlcUwAA3xE6-e1548898011304.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"346\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-37091\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Bar Wrestling<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/01\/24\/jungle-boy-signs-with-all-elite-wrestling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jungle Boy<\/strong> recently signed with the aforementioned AEW<\/a> and looks to prove their confidence valid by getting a big win Thursday. The raw talented youngster has a daunting task in front of him though. <strong>Ground Zero<\/strong> Champion <strong>Andy Brown<\/strong> is coming off a win in Imperial Beach against Bateman and looks to crash the victory party. <strong>Luchasaurus<\/strong> looks strange but can flat out wrestle. He can compete anywhere in the ring and will need to against opponents that can do the same. <strong>Aaron Solow<\/strong> lost to Ray Rosas last time out and hopes to rebound with an upset win.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Heather Monroe vs Keira Hogan<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_37093\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-37093\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-37093\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DyCnen7U0AAT52Z-e1548898026556.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"346\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-37093\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Bar Wrestling<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Heather Monroe<\/strong> went into her match at <em><strong>Bar 28<\/strong> <\/em>looking for a career-defining win against current IMPACT Women\u2019s Champions <strong>Taya Valkyrie<\/strong>, but it was not to be. Monroe went into that match on fire with wins over Tyler Bateman and a tag win (<strong>Killer Baes<\/strong>) against the RockNES Monsters. However, Monroe has another extremely tough test. This time against young <strong>IMPACT Wrestling<\/strong> star <strong>Keira Hogan<\/strong>. The 24-year-old has already faced the likes of Taya Valkyrie, <strong>Tessa Blanchard<\/strong>, and <strong>Laurel Van Ness <\/strong>(NXT Superstar\u00a0<strong>Chelsea Green<\/strong>)\u00a0in her young career. A win for either of these ladies would be a big step forward in a very deep women\u2019s division.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Worldwide Underground (Taya Valkyrie &amp; PJ Black) vs Diamante &amp; Maxx Stardom<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_37095\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-37095\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-37095\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DyDqQeIUcAIU3mg-e1548898049698.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"346\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-37095\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Bar Wrestling<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Once again Taya Valkyrie and <strong>PJ Black<\/strong> team up in what should be a very physical match. All four participants like a fight and this should be no different. Expect things to get ugly and the rulebook to get thrown out the window on this one. Taya may wear fuzzy boots, but she isn\u2019t afraid to mix it up and <strong>Diamante<\/strong> likes that just the same. <strong>Maxx Stardom <\/strong>(aka <strong>Major League Wrestling<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong>Ricky\u00a0Martinez<\/strong>)\u00a0doesn\u2019t really like anybody and that\u2019s perfect because PJ Black doesn\u2019t care. Fun match.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Brian Cage vs Jake Atlas<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_37092\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-37092\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-37092\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DyCnen-VAAAyHNF-e1548898064304.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"346\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-37092\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Bar Wrestling<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This is a great test for <strong>Jake Atlas<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/01\/24\/andnew-jake-atlas-wins-pcw-ultra-ultralight-championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Atlas recently won Gold at PCW ULTRA<\/a>, and a win against the E\u2019Fin Machine would be the equivalent of winning another. <strong>Brian Cage<\/strong> is the number one contender for the IMPACT World Title is a vicious striker and delivers slams that send opponents to the hospital. This won\u2019t intimidate Atlas, but a strike by Cage isn\u2019t the same as what The Superstar may be used to. Atlas will want to keep distance and not trade shots. The last thing he wants is a war because his opponent will gladly oblige.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. &amp; Fenix) vs Tessa Blanchard &amp; Daga<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_37094\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-37094\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-37094\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DyCnen7V4AIW9dz-e1548898080538.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"346\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-37094\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Bar Wrestling<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This match will be great with four outstanding tacticians in the ring. The <strong>Lucha Brother<\/strong>s right now may be the best tag team pound for pound in the world. They win gold everywhere they enter. They can fly, or fight it makes no difference to the luchadores. Tessa and <strong>Daga<\/strong> have trained together and know each other well. They should not have the issues other teams that don\u2019t work together as often may have. Tessa is one of the best women on Earth and her partner is no slouch. The <strong>Lucha Underground<\/strong> veteran knows their opponents well and that plays well to their team\u2019s advantage.
