In what appears to be their last match with ROH, they lost to the <strong>Lifeblood<\/strong> team of <strong>Juice Robinson<\/strong> and <strong>David Finlay<\/strong> at <em><strong>ROH Honor Reigns Supreme<\/strong><\/em> in mid-January. Both are scheduled to appear at this weekend&#8217;s New Japan <em><strong>New Beginnings in US<\/strong><\/em> tour, which may be the duo&#8217;s final appearances for NJPW.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37062\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/trent-barreta-chuck-taylor-1-e1548889643838.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><\/p>\n<p>Originally formed in <strong>Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG)<\/strong> in 2013, the Best Friends only wrestled a handful of times each year as both men had vastly different schedules. Trent was one half of <strong>Roppongi Vice<\/strong> in NJPW and was dominating the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team division, while Taylor was working predominantly with PWG and <strong>CHIKARA<\/strong>. In 2017, they began to work Ring of Honor together regularly, following the breakup of Roppongi Vice, and by the end of 2017, made their New Japan debut together in the <em><strong>NJPW World Tag League<\/strong><\/em>. The duo\u00a0has worked regularly with both ROH and NJPW for the past year now, but it appears they will not be re-signing with either ROH and NJPW and will be joining their old PWG pals <strong>The Young Bucks<\/strong> with AEW instead.
