IMPACT Wrestling<\/strong> and Toronto’s\u00a0Smash Wrestling<\/strong> team up for the first time ever to produce the live Twitch special Brace For IMPACT\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>this Saturday, airing live from London, Ontario\u00a0 With only four matches announced so far, this event is already shaping up to be a “can’t miss” show.<\/p>\n

Cody Deaner vs. Mike Rollins<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Cody Deaner<\/strong> previously wrestled for IMPACT in 2009 (plus a few appearances in 2018) and is one of the busiest talents on the Ontario independent\u00a0scene.\u00a0 He is also the current Border City Wrestling (BCW)<\/strong>\u00a0Heavyweight champion, which is run by none other than Scott D’Amore<\/strong>, VP for IMPACT Wrestling.\u00a0 “Psycho” Mike Rollins<\/strong> is another very busy Ontario talent.\u00a0 His match with Deaner marks the debut for him on an IMPACT event.\u00a0 He is one-half of the former Smash Tag Team champions with Pepper Parks<\/strong> (formerly Braxton Sutter) in the Well Oiled Machines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Demon Bunny (Rosemary & Allie) vs. Balespin\u00a0(KC Spinelli & Xandra Bale)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Rosemary<\/strong> and Allie <\/strong>are currently locked in a rivalry on IMPACT wrestling every week.\u00a0 Their\u00a0rivalry in Smash Wrestling is still very much talked about and spawned a best selling DVD that has had to be resupplied numerous times to fill the demand.\u00a0 A former member of Decay, Rosemary has just recently returned from injury and started appearing on TV again.\u00a0 Allie has recently aligned with Su Yung<\/strong><\/a> much to the dismay of Rosemary.\u00a0\u00a0It will be interesting to see if they can co-exist as a team on Saturday.\u00a0 KC “2 Scoops” Spinelli<\/strong> is a popular talent from the Greater Toronto Area, as well as an IMPACT Knockout.\u00a0 She was on the losing end to Allie four times with IMPACT last year.\u00a0 Xandra Bale<\/strong> makes her IMPACT debut with this match.\u00a0 Fans will recognize her from appearances in Smash and SHIMMER<\/strong>.\u00a0 In a Smash ring, she has yet to beat Rosemary or Allie in competition.\u00a0 Spinelli and Bale join forces in an attempt to finally get in the win column against their opponents.<\/p>\n

The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) vs oVe (Jake & Dave Crist)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In an all IMPACT clash, we see two tag teams looking to get into, or in oVe’s case, back into the IMPACT Tag Title picture.\u00a0 A win in this contest will surely help their respective cases.\u00a0 The Rascalz are the newer of the two teams but that doesn’t mean they are any less experienced.\u00a0 Both Trey Miguel<\/strong> and Zachary Wentz<\/strong> have been absolute workhorses the last few years with each passing the century mark for matches worked in 2018 and 2017.\u00a0 Jake<\/strong> and Dave Crist<\/strong>, also known as Ohio Versus Everything<\/strong>, are workhorses in their own right.\u00a0 They’ve spent the better part of fifteen years traveling the independent\u00a0scene appearing for companies such as Ring Of Honor<\/strong> and Combat Zone Wrestling<\/strong>, and plying their trade.\u00a0 The former IMPACT Tag Team Champions look to pick up a win and move closer to regaining the titles.<\/p>\n

Johnny Impact vs Sami Callihan<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Johnny Impact<\/strong> and Sami Callihan<\/strong> have appeared previously in Lucha Underground<\/strong>.\u00a0 Johnny\u00a0Impact is the current IMPACT Wrestling Heavyweight Champion and locked in a feud with Brian Cage<\/strong> and Killer Kross<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 He will need to somehow set that feud aside as he takes on a not to be taken lightly Sami Callihan.\u00a0 Callihan is the 2018 IMPACT Wrestler of The Year and will make sure you don’t forget it.\u00a0 One gathers that a win here against Impact in a non-title match would have to put him into the discussions for a title shot.<\/p>\n

Only four matches have been officially announced for the event as of writing.\u00a0 However, Smash Wrestling has announced that both the Smash Championship (currently held by Tarik<\/strong>) and the Smash Tag Team Championship (currently held by The Pillars<\/strong>, Tyson Dux & Brent Banks<\/strong>) will be defended at Brace For Impact.\u00a0 Brace for Impact takes place this Saturday in London, Ontario at the London Music Hall.\u00a0 Doors are at 6 pm with the event starting at 7 pm. \u00a0The show will also be broadcast on Impact’s Twitch Channel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
