While Swann took the victory, it was Vikingo&#8217;s performance that immediately caught the attention of the IMPACT Nation. This was a match that was reminiscent of the WCW Cruiserweight division from the Monday Night Wars. A second generation Luchador as his father <strong>King Vikingo<\/strong>\u00a0also wrestled,\u00a0Hijo Del Vikingo began wrestling in 2012 and had his first match at <strong>Promociones Joker<\/strong> in 2014. On April 12th, 2017,\u00a0Hijo Del\u00a0Vikingo made his <strong>AAA Lucha Libre<\/strong> debut in a trios match that saw him team with <strong>Concord<\/strong> and <strong>Octagoncito<\/strong> defeating the team of <strong>Guerrero De Plata<\/strong>, <strong>Mini Abismo Negro<\/strong>, and <strong>Bronco Gonzalez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"AAA Worldwide en AGUASCALIENTES - Campeonato Crucero AAA\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_BCCwzfC9Rc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Later in the year, Hijo Del Vikingo would make his <em><strong>AAA Triplemania <\/strong><\/em>debut for the 25th Anniversary of the company&#8217;s biggest event of the year. Hijo Del Vikingo would team with <strong>Angelikal<\/strong> and <strong>The Tigger<\/strong>, defeating the team of <strong>Angel Mortal Jr.<\/strong>, <strong>Tiger Boy<\/strong>, and <strong>Villano Jr.<\/strong> in the finals of <em><strong>La LLave A La Gloria<\/strong><\/em>, which is considered to be a talent search contest looking for the next star. Tonight was just the beginning for <strong>El Hijo Del Vikingo<\/strong> as many would say he is not any where near the prime of his career. The legendary <strong>Konnan<\/strong> has made several mentions of him on his podcast, <strong>Keepin&#8217; It 100 With Konnan<\/strong> during his Mass Republic Minute segments and has praised the young and uber talented Luchador.
