The WWE’s new class of recruits at the Performance Center should be unveiled officially soon, but the rumor mill has been running rampant for months. Today, Montreal’s International Wrestling Syndicate (IWS)<\/strong> let the cat out of the bag that two Canadian indie wrestlers on their roster, Scott Parker<\/strong> and Shane Matthews<\/strong> (collectively known as 3.0<\/strong>), had signed with the WWE and would be heading to NXT.<\/p>\n

Niagara Falls, Ontario’s Scott Parker and Shane Matthews (better known these days as Big Magic<\/strong>) have been a tandem together since the very early 2000s, when they teamed up in Quebec’s Northern Championship Wrestling (nCw)<\/strong> as Under Construction 2.0<\/strong> (Matthews replaced Parker’s first partner, Nova Cain<\/strong>), which was eventually shortened to just 2.0.\u00a0<\/strong>It didn’t take long for the 2x nCw Tag Team Champions to gain attraction from other Canadian indies, and they began to work with IWS and Ottawa’s Capital City Championship Combat (C4)<\/strong>, becoming 2x IWS Tag Team Champions as well.<\/p>\n
