Weekly Wonder World Of Stardom is our new piece where we aim to recap this week of action from Stardom.\u00a0 We will have results, storyline news, match announcements and will have the updated card for upcoming big shows.\u00a0 Due to a lack of shows, we decided to roll the last two weeks worth of shows into one piece but we will provide you with our thoughts and news for what’s coming up with the big Edion\u00a0Arena show on January\u00a027th looming.<\/p>\n

Post Match:<\/strong> Kagetsu challenges Hazuki for a World Of Stardom championship match for the 1\/27 Edion\u00a0Arena show.\u00a0 Natsuko Tora also gets on the mic and challenged Momo Watanbe\u00a0& Utami Hayashishita for the Goddesses\u00a0Of Stardom Championships.\u00a0 Then Arisa Hoshiki also wants to challenge for the Goddesses\u00a0championships<\/p>\n

Future Of Stardom Championship<\/strong>: (C) Utami Hayashishita Def. Hanan via submission to retain.<\/p>\n

Hazuki & Natsu Sumire Def. Kagetsu & Jamie Hayter in an Oedo Tai Special tag match\/\/ Hazuki Pinned Kagetsu for a surprise win<\/p>\n

Some Thoughts<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

They are stacking the Edion show on January 27th.\u00a0 I expect the Goddesses match to steal the show in a highly anticipated rematch between Queens Quest and JAN.<\/p>\n

Hayashishita has used her Future title to elevate her opponents so far.\u00a0 Both her match with Kid and her match with Hanan have been credited with allowing her opponent to prove they belong at a higher level.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Hayashishita she now holds four titles.\u00a0 If it wasn’t already clear before it’s clear now she is going to be pushed as a big star<\/p>\n

Lida joining JAN was the right call as she looks up to powerhouses like\u00a0Tomohiro Ishii\u00a0<\/strong>and wants to wrestle\u00a0like him and\u00a0Katsuyori Shibata<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m glad to see some more focus on Kimura and her “group” as she calls it.\u00a0 She’s started this year showing more personality than over the autumn and she has a chance to remind people of how good she is while leading this new faction.<\/p>\n

They’ve set up a few defenses for their champions.\u00a0 Watanabe has two challengers waiting in the wings for each of her belts.<\/p>\n

Kagetsu vs Hazuki is an interesting match.\u00a0 Intra faction title matches is usually a Queens Quest move but Kagetsu wanted to fight her right-hand woman.\u00a0 This could be the match that puts Hazuki in the main event scene and may lead to fractures in Oedo Tai.\u00a0 A very interesting matchup that could have so many ramifications.<\/p>\n
