If you&#8217;re looking to get into TJPW,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dramaticddt.wordpress.com\/2019\/01\/11\/kincaid-returns-yoshimura-cleared-marufuji-vs-endo-at-sumo-hall\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Dramatic DDT<\/strong> put out the following blurb<\/a> briefly covering the storylines\u00a0for the upcoming show:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The\u00a0new year for\u00a0Tokyo Joshi Pro\u00a0has begun.\u00a0Miyu\u00a0Yamashita\u00a0and the\u00a0Magical Sugar Rabbits\u00a0all stand tall as the unbeatable champions.\u00a0Their are\u00a0no clear indicators yet as to who will step up to challenge them yet. The\u00a0Up\u00a0Up\u00a0Girls (Pro Wrestling)\u00a0are all getting more comfortable in their new gear. The new class of\u00a0joshi\u00a0are getting plenty of ring time with each other too.\u00a0Hyper Misao\u00a0is taking a break but\u00a0Marika\u00a0Kobashi\u00a0is back. Let\u2019s see what new directions everyone will take starting tomorrow.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>BAKURETSU Sisters vs. Miyu Yamashita and Reika Saiki<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Miyu\u00a0Yamashita<\/strong> has been TJPW\u2019s Princess of Princess Champion for over a year. She has defenses against many of the company\u2019s top competitors. With a victory over 2018\u2019s fastest rising star, <strong>Maki Itoh<\/strong>, last week, it seems there are only a handful of wrestlers left to challenge for her title. However, one wrestler who could overcome\u00a0Miyu\u00a0Yamashita is\u00a0<strong>Reika\u00a0Saiki<\/strong>. Yamashita won the belt from Saiki early last year, and both have a similar style based on martial arts kicks. For the\u00a0first time since Yamashita became champion, the two will be teaming up with no other partners. They will take on the <strong>BAKURETSU Sisters<\/strong> (<strong>Nodoka Tenma<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>Yuki Aino<\/strong>), a team known for power moves.<\/p>\n<h2>Magical Sugar Rabbits vs. Mina Shirakawa and Yuki Kamifuku<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Mizuki\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>Yuka\u00a0Sakazaki\u00a0<\/strong>together are the <strong>Magical Sugar Rabbits<\/strong>.\u00a0They came together after fighting an epic battle against one another during last year\u2019s Princess Cup tournament. Since teaming up, they have won the Princess Tag Team titles, and their fast-paced high-flying style has helped them conquer every challenge put before them. Recently, they defeated TJPW stalwarts\u00a0<strong>Riho\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>Shoko Nakajima<\/strong>. Then, the very next night, they beat\u00a0 UK\u00a0sensation\u00a0<strong>Millie McKenzie <\/strong>and bright up-and-comer<strong>\u00a0Miu\u00a0Watanabe<\/strong>. On the 13th, they will be facing the relatively new wrestlers, <strong>Mina Shirakawa<\/strong> and <strong>Yuki\u00a0Kamifuku<\/strong>, who are hoping to establish themselves as wrestlers to look out for.<\/p>\n<h2>Other Matches<\/h2>\n<p>The<strong> Up\u00a0Up\u00a0Girls<\/strong> squad showed a new look at the start of the new year, going from various shiny one-tone outfits to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tjpw2013\/status\/1079655451904532480\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a combination of dazzling multi-colored geometric designs.<\/a>\u00a0Up\u00a0Up\u00a0Girls member\u00a0<strong>Hikari\u00a0Noa<\/strong> will be taking on the acrobatic\u00a0<strong>Natsumi Maki<\/strong>.\u00a0Maki recently made her TJPW debut after making her name in\u00a0joshi\u00a0promotions such as\u00a0<strong>Stardom<\/strong>, <strong>Marvelous<\/strong>, and <strong>AGZ<\/strong>. The other Up\u00a0Up\u00a0Girls will be competing against each other, with <strong>Marika\u00a0Kobashi<\/strong>\u00a0also thrown into the mix. Kobashi came back from a months-long hiatus due to injury last week, and is hoping to keep her momentum. Welcome back Marika\u00a0Kobashi!<\/p>\n<p>Finally,\u00a0<strong>Hyper Misao<\/strong>, the most notable absence on the card, has announced that she is taking a break from wrestling. Misao captivated wrestling fans last year with a match\u00a0against Jun Kasai unlike any other. It featured a ladder, a table,\u00a0a mountain of chairs, a\u00a0bicycle crash, a heartwarming real-life story, and two bags of chocolate cream\u00a0puffs.
