While some companies like <strong>Stardom<\/strong> (who have a working agreement with <strong>Ring of Honor<\/strong>) and <strong>Sendai Girls<\/strong> (who may be linked to WWE due to their working relationship with owner <strong>Meiko Satomura<\/strong>) may be off limits, there is still a plethora of talent available to work the US with AEW. According to the Newsletter, one of those names just may be\u00a0<em>joshi\u00a0<\/em>legend <strong>Aja Kong<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-35059\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/Aja-Kong.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"295\" height=\"476\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/Aja-Kong.jpg 295w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/Aja-Kong-186x300.jpg 186w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/Aja-Kong-260x420.jpg 260w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 295px) 100vw, 295px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The 48-year old Aja Kong is one of the most important\u00a0<em>joshi\u00a0<\/em>legends in the history of Japanese women&#8217;s wrestling and one of\u00a0<em>joshi&#8217;<\/em>s most influential monster wrestlers. Trained by <strong>All Japan Women&#8217;s Pro Wrestling (AJW)<\/strong> legend <strong>Jaguar Yokota<\/strong> in 1986, she made her AJW debut in 1989. She worked with AJW through until 1997, when she joined <strong>GAEA<\/strong>. She would eventually make <strong>OZ Academy<\/strong> her primary promotion in 2007, while still working freelance with such promotions as Sendai Girls, <strong>ZERO1, Diana, DDT Pro<\/strong> and more.
