{"id":34877,"date":"2019-01-18T10:05:26","date_gmt":"2019-01-18T15:05:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/?p=34877"},"modified":"2019-01-18T10:05:26","modified_gmt":"2019-01-18T15:05:26","slug":"preview-progress-chapter-83-remove-child-before-ironing-1-20-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2019\/01\/18\/preview-progress-chapter-83-remove-child-before-ironing-1-20-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Preview: PROGRESS Chapter 83: Remove Child Before Ironing (1\/20\/19)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PROGRESS Wrestling<\/strong> go into 2019 looking to recreate the success fo 2018, starting with <em><strong>Chapter 83: Remove Child Before Ironing<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Last year they ran Wembley, became a part of the WWE family, and said goodbye to some of it&#8217;s biggest stars.\u00a0 They are back at the Ballroom to kick off what is sure to be a crazy year for PROGRESS and British Wrestling in general.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Match 1: Nina Samuels vs Laura Di Matteo<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_35790\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35790\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-35790\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DxIonTxWkAA1l_Y-e1547795958140.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-35790\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>These two have been on opposite sides for the past year.\u00a0 First, <strong>Nina Samuels<\/strong> sided with the <strong>House Of Couture<\/strong> against <strong>Laura Di Matteo<\/strong> and co. and now we see Di Matteo siding with <strong>Jinny<\/strong> against Samuels and\u00a0<strong>Charlie Morgan<\/strong>.\u00a0 These two have been around the scene for a while and have been at odds in PROGRESS for a long time, and it will all come to a head at <em>Chapter 83<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Match 2: Angelico vs Jody Fleisch<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_35787\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35787\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-35787\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DwkzNE4WoAAzZxo-e1547795992106.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-35787\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Jody Fleisch<\/strong> made his PROGRESS debut at <em><strong>Unboxing 2<\/strong><\/em> to the shock of most people.\u00a0 Fleisch is 38 and has been around for two decades &#8211; for PROGRESS to randomly bring him in was a strange decision.\u00a0 Strange yes, but not bad.\u00a0 Fleisch has seen and done it all and has always been one of the most underrated performers in the UK.\u00a0 He was a high flying wrestler before it was cool but can do everything else and will be hoping to prove to the PROGRESS Ultras that he belongs here.\u00a0 <strong>Angelico<\/strong> has made the transition to European wrestling in the last few months.\u00a0 Most known for his work in\u00a0<strong>Lucha Underground\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>AAA,\u00a0<\/strong>he has taken his brand of wrestling to Europe with much success.\u00a0 His energy and ability to wrestle a fast-paced style has helped him fit into the scene.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Match 3: Chris Ridgeway vs Shigehiro Irie<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_35786\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35786\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-35786\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DwaST1NX4AEa-L-e1547796018139.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-35786\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Irie debuted in PROGRESS to face\u00a0<strong>WALTER\u00a0<\/strong>at <em><strong>Chapter 81<\/strong><\/em> and was in a scramble match at <em><strong>Chapter 82<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 The Japanese Beast is a talented all-around talent who can do it all in a ring.\u00a0 Ridgeway is one of the most Japanese influenced wrestlers in the UK.\u00a0 Hard as F**k Ridgeway likes to trade hard shots with his opponents and utilize his shoot style to take advantage of any weakness.\u00a0 A clash of two wrestlers that should mesh very well and deliver a really fun match.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Match 4: Do Not Resuscitate (Chuck Mambo &amp; Will Ospreay) (c) vs CCK (Chris Brookes &amp; Kid Lykos)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_35788\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35788\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-35788\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DwZGcN6XcAEQwqC-e1547796094918.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-35788\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Swords of Essex made their\u00a0surprise\u00a0return at Unboxing Live and captured the tag team titles from\u00a0<strong>Aussie Open (Mark Davis &amp;
