Some great first-time match ups, some returns of some previous GCW debuts, and a whole lot of action confirmed for this Saturday night, coming just 24 hours after <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/01\/07\/preview-freelance-vs-gcw-1-11-19\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GCW goes to battle with Freelance Wrestling<\/a>!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>G-Raver vs. Orin Veidt<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_34518\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34518\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-34518\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/Du0zmN8WwAAHu_t-e1546898593576.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-34518\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><b>Vicious Outcast Wrestling (VOW)\u00a0<\/b>veteran <strong>G-Raver<\/strong> has been feuding with <strong>Markus Crane<\/strong> and <strong>SHLAK<\/strong> over the past few months in GCW, but on Saturday he faces a new face for GCW in 4-year pro <strong>Orin Veidt<\/strong> out of Massachusetts. Veidt has been working with Minnesota&#8217;s Midwest All-Star Wrestling (MAW) for most of the year, but has also competed for <strong>IWA Mid South<\/strong>, VOW and <strong>H20<\/strong>. G-Raver is an 11-year veteran who has worked for IWA Mid South, <strong>Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Beyond Wrestling, Blackcraft Wrestling<\/strong>, and more, and will be looking to put the young Veidt in his place.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>DJ Z vs. Jungle Boy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_34505\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34505\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-34505\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DwBWA46XcAAiHgf-e1546898707138.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-34505\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: <strong>Game Changer Wrestling<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>DJ Z<\/strong> recently became a free agent <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/12\/31\/djz-departs-impact-wrestling-becomes-free-agent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">after departing <strong>IMPACT Wrestling<\/strong><\/a>, but the former 2x IMPACT X-Division Champion and reigning 2x <strong>All American Wrestling (AAW)<\/strong> Heritage Champion is still in his prime. He went 0-3 in Game Changer Wrestling in 2018 and will be looking to show he&#8217;s still got it but he&#8217;s facing one of the West Coast&#8217;s rising stars in the <strong>&#8220;Jungle Boy&#8221; Nate Coy<\/strong>. A star with California&#8217;s <strong>All Pro Wrestling (APW)<\/strong> and other West Coast indies, Jungle Boy made his Game Changer Wrestling debut at November&#8217;s <em><strong>Joey Janela&#8217;s LA Confidential<\/strong><\/em>, a loss to <strong>Tony Deppen<\/strong>, but he picked up his first win a few weeks back at <em><strong>GCW The Dynasty<\/strong><\/em> over <strong>KTB<\/strong>. This will be an athletic contest for the ages and a potential show stealer.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Markus Crane vs. &#8220;Spyder&#8221; Nate Webb<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_34502\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34502\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-34502\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DwBV_r3X4AEqhBj-e1546898732155.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-34502\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Game Changer Wrestling<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Markus Crane has been a force the past year in GCW, but the past few months has worked more as a tag team specialist with his new partner SHLAK. He returns to singles action on Saturday night taking on an American hardcore legend in <strong>&#8220;Spyder&#8221; Nate Webb<\/strong>, an 18-year veteran of IWA Mid South (and 2x IWA Mid South Junior Heavyweight Champion) who has also wrestled for <strong>Ring of Honor<\/strong>, CZW, and others, before making GCW his new home.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>MJF vs. Jimmy Lloyd<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_34501\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34501\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-34501\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/Dv8vz_3X4AAZMXq-e1546898785927.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-34501\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Hot off his announcement that <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/01\/08\/everything-you-need-to-know-about-all-elite-wrestling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">he&#8217;s part of the First Class for <strong>All Elite Wrestling<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF)<\/strong> makes his Game Changer Wrestling return on Saturday to face a man determined to wipe that smirk off his face with barbed wire and hambone fists, in the Prince of American hardcore, <strong>Jimmy Lloyd<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Daisuke Masaoka vs. Alex Colon<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_34504\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34504\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-34504 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DwBV8N0WkAECXbB-e1546898747150.jpg\" alt=\"GCW\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-34504\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One of the veterans of Japanese hardcore promotion <strong>FREEDOMS,<\/strong> former King of FREEDOM Champion <strong>Daisuke Masaoka<\/strong> makes his first GCW appearance since the 2017 <em><strong>Nick Gage Invitational<\/strong><\/em> and he&#8217;s looking for blood. Masaoka will be facing current 2x H20 Champion <strong>Alex Colon<\/strong>, an 11-year veteran of CZW and <strong>Rockstar Pro<\/strong>, who has brought his fight game to GCW in the past two years. Former GCW and CZW World Champion <strong>Matt Tremont<\/strong> is a force of nature. He&#8217;s guaranteed to bleed first, but that isn&#8217;t a sign of weakness for the &#8220;Bulldozer&#8221; &#8211; it&#8217;s a badge of honor. He&#8217;s facing former 3x IWA Mid South Heavyweight Champion <strong>Reed Bentley<\/strong>, another nasty bastard, for the first time since their last encounter at IWA Mid South <em><strong>The Juice Is Worth The Squeeze<\/strong><\/em> event this past October, which Tremont won. If either man escapes without being soaked red, it&#8217;ll be a New Year&#8217;s miracle.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>GCW World Championship: Nick Gage (c) vs. Eric Ryan<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_34503\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34503\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-34503 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/DwBV-AtW0AgYTJp-e1546898765257.jpg\" alt=\"GCW\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-34503\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Nick Gage&#8217;s resurgence the past few years has been nothing short of remarkable. He&#8217;s gone from being just a &#8220;Deathmatch guy&#8221; to becoming one of the top draws in the US indie scene. He&#8217;s held the GCW World Championship for over 380 days now and the former 4x CZW World Champion is now working more diverse promotions as <strong>Beyond Wrestling, CHIKARA, Bar Wrestling, Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW)<\/strong>, and <strong>Black Label Pro<\/strong>. But he&#8217;s by no means calmed down. To fight Gage is still a death sentence.
