It\u2019s set to go down on Sunday, December 30th at the Electric Haze in Worcester, MA and bell time is 5:00 PM Eastern. WWR is the sister promotion to <strong>Beyond Wrestling<\/strong>, who started the TFT concept back in 2012. A tournament needs a prize, right? The winners of this tournament will go on to Beyond\u2019s <em><strong>Heavy Lies the Crown<\/strong><\/em>, held on the very next night. There, they will face the team of <strong>John Silver<\/strong> and <strong>Alex Reynolds<\/strong>, the <strong>Beaver Boys<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Now, while this show is named and planned around a tournament, that\u2019s not all there is to this show! There will also be non-tournament action going on, with several big names signed to appear as well. Scheduled for this non-tournament side of things are Alisha Edwards, Kris Statlander, LuFisto, Trixie Tash and Shotzi Blackheart. Kylie Rae is also be making her WWR debut. She\u2019s been heating up the indies in 2018 and shows no signs of slowing down. There are eight teams slated for this huge tournament as well as a terrific team in the wings as an alternate if needed. Our first team is the <strong>Sea Stars<\/strong>, <strong>Ashley Vox<\/strong> and <strong>Delmi Exo<\/strong>. They will be teaming together in WWR for the first time in over a year since the last women&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Tournament for Tomorrow<\/em>. Both women are mainstays for WWR as singles wrestlers. They also team quite regularly for promotions such as <strong>CHIKARA,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Queens of Combat, Chaotic Wrestling<\/strong> and <strong>SHIMMER<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_33706\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-33706\" style=\"width: 750px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-33706\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/12\/DvcfulxWkAA0R68-e1546013770877.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"278\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-33706\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: WWR<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Our next team is <strong>Team Adams<\/strong>, represented by <strong>Karen Q<\/strong> and <strong>Tasha Steelz<\/strong>. These two have teamed several times in the past with a great degree of success. The Chinese-American sensation has had a banner year, appearing for both WWE and ROH in addition to her numerous independent appearances. Steelz also worked for ROH this year in addition to her regular haunts such as <strong>House of Glory, Chaotic Wrestling<\/strong>, and <strong>Battle Club Pro<\/strong>. Tasha also recently participated in a WWE tryout. They are <strong>Davienne<\/strong> and <strong>Vionette<\/strong>. Much in the vain of fellow WWR competitor, <strong>Jordynne Grace<\/strong>: they are beauty, they are grace and they will punch you in the face. These bruising beauties are WWR stalwarts, teaming on the regular and sometimes joined by <strong>Mistress Belmont<\/strong>. These girls tear it up across the Northeast, leaving bodies in their wake. The team of <strong>Maria Manic<\/strong> and <strong>Penelope Ford<\/strong> stride into Tournament for Tomorrow arguably as heavy favorites. They haven\u2019t tasted defeat as a team in WWR since 2017 and recently challenged <strong>Las Sicarias<\/strong> for the Shine Tag Team Championships. Maria Manic is an imposing and dominating figure in wrestling on her own. Their last appearance for the promotion was back in April at the Beyond\/WWR supershow, <em><strong>It\u2019s Lit<\/strong><\/em>. The current <strong>Shine<\/strong> Tag Team Champions are broadening their tag team resume to include ROH, RiSE and <strong>Stardom<\/strong>. The Sisterz have also faced the challenge awaiting the tournament winners, the Beaver Boys and came up short. This is the team of <strong>Willow Nightingale<\/strong> and <strong>Solo Darling<\/strong>. This is probably the most light-hearted team in terms of personality. Both are bubbly, high energy and fan favorites. They are also a duo of a veteran and a rookie. Solo Darling has been in wrestling for eight years compared to Willow\u2019s three. Don\u2019t let their good nature fool you though, or you might just get stung. Kimber Lee is a wrestler who needs no introduction. She\u2019s been all over the world, from CHIKARA to WWE to Stardom. Skyler is well a \u201chot scoop\u201d on the independent scene, just two years into her career. She\u2019s a former Chaotic Wrestling Women\u2019s Champion. She was also selected to be part of Team WWR along with Kimber Lee to take on <strong>Team Pazuzu<\/strong> at this year\u2019s<em><strong> Americanrana<\/strong><\/em>. It\u2019ll be interesting to see how these two strong personalities and wrestlers work together. The Queen of Dinosaurs meets the High Priestess of the Church of Harlow. Each of these women is a powerhouse and when their powers combine, great things could happen. They are <strong>Sonya Strong<\/strong> and <strong>Violette<\/strong>. Sonya is the current House of Glory Women\u2019s Champion and has warred with Violette in the past. It\u2019ll be interesting to see how they work together, should they be called upon. This would be Violette\u2019s debut for WWR should she see action at <em>Tournament for Tomorrow<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>WWR\u2019s Tournament for Tomorrow is set to take place on December 30th from the Electric Haze in Worcester, MA.
