Dain previously competed for ICW (and throughout the UK and Irish indies) as <strong>Big Damo<\/strong>, before signing with the WWE in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/StephenLouch\/status\/1061764781189853185<\/p>\n<p>As Big Damo, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2017\/01\/08\/tommy-end-big-damo-get-nxt-names-internet-explodes\/\" target=\"_self\">Killian Dain<\/a> was arguably the best big man in the UK indie scene since his debut in the mid 2000s with <strong>Scottish Wrestling Alliance (SWA)<\/strong>. By 2014, he was a regular with ICW, as well as other promotions like Ireland&#8217;s <strong>Over The Top (OTT<\/strong>) Wrestling and <strong>Pro Wrestling Ulster (PWU)<\/strong>, and UK indies like <strong>PROGRESS, IPW<\/strong>, and RevPro. He was an early star with <strong>WhatCulture Pro Wrestling<\/strong> (<strong>WCPW<\/strong>, now <strong>Defiant Wrestling<\/strong>) and was the company&#8217;s first World Heavyweight Champion in 2016.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Wrestler Drew McIntyre Passes Out\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xcJolFoIEBA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Killian Dain&#8217;s appearance for ICW continues a new attitude in the WWE of late, loaning out stars to other indies within their collective alliance, as seen with recent NXT and <em><strong>205 Live<\/strong> <\/em>stars appearing for <strong>EVOLVE<\/strong> this weekend, as well as<strong> Apollo Crews<\/strong> with <strong>Preston City Wrestling (PCW)<\/strong> earlier this year. ICW also announced that<em> 205 Live<\/em> (and NXT UK) star <strong>Noam Dar<\/strong> would also be returning to ICW in December at <em><strong>Fear &amp; Loathing XI<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/InsaneChampWres\/status\/1061778688260390914<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly enough, current Smackdown Tag Team Champion <strong>Sheamus<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmirror.ie\/sport\/other-sport\/wwes-sheamus-hails-amazing-developments-13574375\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">was interviewed by the Irish Mirror today<\/a> and praised the state of Irish indie wrestling, in particular, OTT and it&#8217;s owner, former WWE Developmental talent <strong>Luther Ward<\/strong>. &#8220;Joe Cabray (Luther Ward) is doing a phenomenal job.
