For tonight’s Fight Club<\/strong><\/em> in Glasgow, Scotland with Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW)<\/strong>, ICW owner Mark Dallas<\/strong> had promised a surprise opponent for Mikey Whiplash<\/strong>, saying he called in a “BIG favor” from the WWE, who were in the UK on their Live Event tour.<\/p>\n

Killian Dain Returns to ICW on Sunday Night<\/h1>\n

Well, it was indeed a BIG favor and a BIG return, as the WWE Superstar turned out to be a former ICW World Heavyweight Champion in SaNitY’s Killian Dain<\/strong>. Dain previously competed for ICW (and throughout the UK and Irish indies) as Big Damo<\/strong>, before signing with the WWE in 2016.<\/p>\n

As Big Damo, Killian Dain<\/a> was arguably the best big man in the UK indie scene since his debut in the mid 2000s with Scottish Wrestling Alliance (SWA)<\/strong>. By 2014, he was a regular with ICW, as well as other promotions like Ireland’s Over The Top (OTT<\/strong>) Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Ulster (PWU)<\/strong>, and UK indies like PROGRESS, IPW<\/strong>, and RevPro. He was an early star with WhatCulture Pro Wrestling<\/strong> (WCPW<\/strong>, now Defiant Wrestling<\/strong>) and was the company’s first World Heavyweight Champion in 2016.<\/p>\n
