CHIKARA<\/strong> returns to the Wrestle Factory on October 13th with Piano Lessons Can Be Murder<\/strong><\/em>! Coming off of It Came from Beneath the Sink!<\/strong><\/em>, this event is all about the Campeonatos de Parejas. We have not only a Campeonatos de Parejas title match, but several matches with points on the line.\u00a0 As always, CHIKARA has an entire card filled with fun and action in store for Piano Lessons Can Be Murder.<\/p>\n

Cam Carter vs. Juan Francisco de Coronado<\/strong><\/h3>\n

First, we have a match with major momentum implications. Cam Carter was a stand-out competitor in the 2018 Rey de Voladores tournament. Juan Francisco de Coronado though, he has been on a downturn ever since he lost the CHIKARA Grand Championship. Just don\u2019t let him hear you mention that or call him \u2018former\u2019 champion to his face! He might just block you as he did to the CHIKARA Twitter account. Clearly, no longer being champion is not one of Juan Francisco de Coronado\u2019s favorite things. Whichever man comes away with the win will get one point towards a future Grand Championship match.<\/p>\n

Ophidian vs. Frightmare<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Our next match will be the newest chapter in an old rivalry. During seasons past, Ophidian was on a mission to destroy Frightmare. He was almost successful too, but he was thwarted by Hallowicked. Their last match was at National Pro Wrestling Day back in February. Now that Ophidian is back from his world tour, he looks to finally finish Frightmare off. As has been proven in the past though, this is no easy task.<\/p>\n

Dasher & Boomer Hatfield vs. Cornelius Crummels & Sonny Defarge<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Interim Grand Champion Dasher Hatfield has a different assignment for this inning. He will again be teaming with his son, young Boomer Hatfield. The father and son team have been fairly successful as a duo. They beat the Legion of Rot (Hallowicked and Frightmare) at Chikarasaurus Rex \u2013 A Deadly Secret. Now they look to continue their winning ways against a couple of \u201creputable businessmen.\u201d Crummels and Defarge are former Campeonatos de Parejas campeones, so their partnership has been successful. Will Crummels and Defarge be able to beat the father and son pair? Or will the Hatfields show that blood is better than business partners?<\/p>\n

The Colony (Fire Ant, Thief Ant and Green Ant (II)) & Solo Darling vs. The Creatures of the Deep (Oceanea, Merlok, Hermit Crab & Cajun Crawdad)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Colony is on a hot streak following their win at the King of Trios tournament. Here there will be teaming up with Solo Darling in atomicos action at Piano Lessons Can Be Murder. King of Trios was the first time that the entire Creatures of the Deep stable teamed together for a long time. It did not prove successful over Trios weekend as part of a ten-person tag team match. However, as a unit, they are undefeated in atomicos matches. We\u2019ll see if their undefeated streak will continue, or if the Colony\u2019s strength will continue to build.<\/p>\n

Xyberhawk 2000 (Danjerhawk & Razerhawk) vs. F.I.S.T. (Icarus & Tony Deppen)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Danjerhawk is returning to action following his injury at the 2018 King of Trios. He and Razerhawk look to gain points to get a Campeonatos de Parejas opportunity. Icarus and the third member of F.I.S.T., Travis Huckabee, have been successful over the Xyberhawk 2000 previously. With Danjerhawk just coming off of the bench and Razerhawk having failed to get a Grand Championship opportunity, their wings are against the wall. Will they be able to overcome their F.I.S.T. foes this time around? Icarus and Deppen also look to get on the point leaderboard as a team. The duos of Icarus\/Huckabee and Huckabee\/Deppen already have one point each. If they would like to be able to challenge for the Campeonatos de Parejas themselves, they have a lot of work to do.<\/p>\n

Lucas Calhoun, Jeremy Leary & Blanche Babish vs. The Proteus Wheel (Callux the Castignator, Frantik & Volgar)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Lucas Calhoun and Jeremy Leary were in need of a partner in their war against the Proteus Wheel. During King of Trios weekend, Blanche Babish answered their call. They first teamed together as a trio against BLANK the Nouveau Aesthetic; here they were successful. Now Calhoun and Leary are drawing a line in the sand and asking Babish if she is really with them. Professor Nicodemus\u2019 trio of hulking humanity is a difficult task to overcome. It will be a nail-biter to see if Blanche is ready to commit fully to Lucas and Jeremy\u2019s cause to destroy the Proteus.<\/p>\n

Campeonatos de Parejas Championship Match:\u00a0The Regime (Sloane Caprice & Rick Roland) (c) vs. The Beast Warriors (Oleg the Usurper & The Proletariat Boar of Moldova)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Oleg and the Proletariat Boar of Moldova, known as the Beast Warriors, are finally cashing in their three points. As a team, they have been fairly successful. At It Came from Beneath the Sink!, they teamed with Hype Rockwell to take on The Regime. In this trios match, the Hyper Beast Warriors were not successful, losing by submission. This adds a level of doubt over whether Oleg and Boar will be able to topple The Regime. Caprice and Roland have reigned as campeones for over 200 days, after winning the titles in February. Will The Beast Warriors finally end their reign of terror, or will they fall short once again?<\/p>\n
