Tri State indie veteran Twisted Tate<\/strong> is the owner of Stevens, Pennsylvania’s Atomic Championship Wrestling (ACW)<\/strong>, a Mid Atlantic indie promotion that’s been running since 2000. In 2016, they introduced their women’s division,\u00a0Rogue Women Warriors<\/strong>, crowning their first\u00a0Rogue Women Warriors Champion in Angie Skye<\/strong>. On Saturday October 13, the two divisions unite for The Chemicals Between Us<\/strong><\/em>, with a card spotlighting many regional indie talents, some emerging talents and a few international stars who are ACW or\u00a0Rogue Women Warriors regulars.<\/p>\n

Former ACW Heavyweight Champion Scotty Jeffreys<\/strong> is currently in his second reign as the ACW Tri-State Champion, and he’s defending his title in a battle royale against eight other wrestlers, who will be looking to make a name for themselves in ACW.<\/p>\n

ACW veteran Jon Dahmer<\/strong> (who was spent over a decade with Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW)<\/strong>) is looking to add more gold to his trophy case. The former 3x CZW World Tag Team Champion and ACW Tag Team Champion is going at it with a different partner this time in former ACW Heavyweight Champion Ox Hogg<\/strong>. A win for the Dahmer and Hogg duo could put them in contention to claim the ACW tag titles that are currently vacant. They’re set to face a bruising tandem of East Coast veterans. Stockade<\/strong> is a veteran of nearly 15 years, whose been a regular with New York Wrestling Connection (NYWC), American Championship Entertainment (ACE), Beyond Wrestling<\/strong>, and more hardcore promotions like H20<\/strong> and CZW. The former 2x NYWC Heavyweight Champion and H20 Heavyweight Champion is pairing up with 23-year Tri State indie veteran Rob Noxious<\/strong>, the longest reigning ACW Tri State Champion, at an unbelievable 889 days. Noxious and Hogg have some unfinished business after their last singles encounter ended in a double count out back at September’s\u00a0A Little Piece of Heaven.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Former Ring of Honor (ROH)<\/strong> star Colby Corino<\/strong> is the 22-year old son of former ECW and ROH legend Steve Corino<\/strong>. Since leaving ROH, he’s been working his way up through indies such as North Carolina’s Carolina Wrestling Federation (CWF) Mid Atlantic, Premier Wrestling Federation (PWF)<\/strong> and Premiere Wrestling Xperience (PWX)<\/strong>, as well as Virginia’s Vanguard Championship Wrestling (VCW)<\/strong>. He made his ACW debut this year and promptly became the ACW Cruiserweight Champion. At\u00a0The Chemicals Between Us<\/em>, Corino puts his title on the line against the unpredictable Jimmy Lloyd<\/strong> from Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)<\/strong> and CZW. Facing the new Prince of American Hardcore, Corino will be in for a fight.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0Rogue Women Warriors action, another former ROH star, Veda Scott<\/strong>, makes her return to the promotion, after debuting this past August. Since leaving ROH, Scott has been wrestling mostly in Europe of late, with Germany’s Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw)<\/strong>, the UK’s Revolution Pro (RevPro), Riptide, Pro Wrestling: EVE<\/strong> and Southside Wrestling Entertainment (SWE)<\/strong>, plus Japan’s DDT Pro<\/strong>. She still works the US with SHIMMER and Shine as well. She’s facing 5-year pro and former Rogue Women Warriors Champion Tess Valentine<\/strong>. Valentine has worked a few times with RISE<\/strong> and MCW Pro<\/strong> (formerly Maryland Championship Wrestling) as well as other Pennsylvania indies.<\/p>\n

This past weekend, Trixie Tash<\/strong> made her Beyond Wrestling<\/strong> debut, facing her trainer and mentor (and\u00a0Rogue Women Warriors Champion) LuFisto<\/strong>. Tash got a warm welcome from the Beyond crowd, so expect her to break out in 2019. But first, she’s facing former MCW Pro Women’s Champion Sahara Se7en<\/strong>, an emerging indie star from Virginia whose starting to shine in MCW Pro and her home state promotion, NOVA Pro Wrestling<\/strong>. This could be a preview of two of the top women’s indie stars from 2020.<\/p>\n

Canadian indie star and IMPACT Wrestling<\/strong> Knockout KC Spinelli<\/strong> is returning to\u00a0Rogue Women Warriors for the first time since losing to Tess Valentine<\/strong> this year. The near 10-year veteran of such promotions as SHIMMER, Women’s Superstars Uncensored (WSU), Smash Wrestling<\/strong>, and Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling (ECCW)<\/strong> is going head to head against another of the new emerging stars in current reigning and 2x MCW Women’s Champion and former CZW Medal of Valor Champion Brittany Blake<\/strong>. The 27-year old Blake debuted with WSU in 2013 and has gone on to work for CZW, MCW Pro, NOVA Pro, Queens of Combat (QOC)<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n

A match-up featuring two relatively new stars to the sport, including 19-year old Riley Shepard<\/strong>. Despite her young age, Shepard has already debuted with Ring of Honor in their Women of Honor<\/strong> division, at two sets of TV tapings and at June’s ROH NYC Excellence<\/strong><\/em> show. Her opponent,\u00a0Lady Frost<\/strong>, spent two years as a valet\/manager on the indies before entering the ring herself less than a year ago. This past March, she appeared on WWE RAW, as Jamie Frost<\/strong>, in a loss to Asuka <\/strong>and recently took part in a Beyond tryout. She’s the partner of ACW Heavyweight Champion Victor Benjamin<\/strong> in the tandem, The Pretty Proper<\/strong>.\u00a0Another showcase of two women who are just at the beginning to make their marks in the sport.<\/p>\n

A former MMA fighter, Shane “InYaFace” Chojnacki is better known to the Mid Atlantic wrestling region as ACW Heavyweight Champion Victor Benjamin<\/strong>. With Lady Frost at his side, Benjamin won his first ACW Championship last month at\u00a0Little Piece of Heaven<\/em>, in a triple threat against G-Raver and his opponent at\u00a0The Chemicals Between Us<\/em>, Breaux Keller<\/strong>. Keller is a former ACW Heavyweight Champion himself, who has also competed on several CZW Dojo Wars.<\/p>\n

The 21-year veteran of the Tri State indies and former ACW Tri-State Champion Twisted Tate will have his hands full as he faces one of the hardest men in pro wrestling today, in Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)<\/strong> Heavyweight Champion Nick Gage<\/strong>. Tate has fought some customers over his two decade career – including\u00a0Rogue Women Warriors and former ACW Heavyweight Champion LuFisto – but very few are more maniacal than Nick F’n Gage. This will not end well for Tate, even if he should win.<\/p>\n

Rogue Women Warriors Champion LuFisto has been having an amazing run of matches of late, against some pretty top notch opponents – she herself has hinted that her 20+ year career is winding up sooner than later, and she seems to be on a dream match tour of her own. In the past year, she’s faced the likes of Scotland’s Viper<\/strong> (aka Piper Niven) and Kay Lee Ray, Mercedes Martinez, Killer Kelly, Su Yung, Zeuxis<\/strong>, and more, and this weekend will face Toni Storm<\/strong> at wXw’s Femme Fatales tournament in Germany<\/a>. At\u00a0The Chemicals Between Us<\/em>, she faces stiff competition in former CHIKARA Grand Champion Kimber Lee<\/strong>. In some ways, this is a rematch from their previous encounter at SHINE 50\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>this past March, where Kimber Lee faced LuFisto for the Shine Championship. LuFisto got herself disqualified so Kimber Lee got the win, but not the prize.
