Names like <strong>Tessa Blanchard, Santana Garrett, Malia Hosaka, Holidead, IMPACT<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong>Katarina, Amber O&#8217;Neal, Ray Lyn<\/strong> and <strong>Barbi Hayden<\/strong> add indie cred to a roster that also features real life women&#8217;s legends <strong>Peggy Lee Leather<\/strong> (Thug) and <strong>Bambi<\/strong> (Selina Major), plus WOW originals like <strong>Jungle Grrl<\/strong> and <strong>Cage Heat<\/strong>, making WOW a variety of multiple styles of pro wrestling, with an emphasis on the pizzaz of an entertainment platform featuring real life &#8220;super heroes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>WOW announced two more names for <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2018\/09\/10\/women-of-wrestling-wow-ready-to-change-the-game\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the already impressive WOW roster<\/a> this week, with one from a very famous wrestling family, and the other an emerging prospect from the Canadian indies.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>SHAUL GUERRERO<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_26923\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-26923\" style=\"width: 397px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-26923\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/09\/DZZlXVEVQAApkgk-e1538012103759.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"397\" height=\"500\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-26923\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Melanie Hall \/ Melon Head Photography \/ melonhead-photo.com<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The daughter of WWE Hall of Famer <strong>Eddie Guerrero<\/strong> and former WWE Superstar <strong>Vickie Guerrero<\/strong>, Shaul Guerrero comes from a very famous family, and is a third generation performer. Her grandfather is lucha libre legend <strong>Gory Guerrero<\/strong>, her uncles are the famous Mexican wrestlers <strong>Mando, Chavo Sr.<\/strong>, and <strong>Hector Guerrero<\/strong>, and her cousin is <strong>Chavo Guerrero Jr<\/strong>. She&#8217;s even married to WWE Superstar <strong>Aiden English<\/strong>. In a press release sent out by AXS-TV, Shaul Guerrero mentioned that she was &#8220;excited to continue to build my own legacy in the world of wrestling. Working with WOW is a dream come true, and a bit of a twist of fate that David McLane is passing the mic to me \u2013 my uncle Mando trained the GLOW girls back in the \u201980s for David.\u201d Back in 2011, Guerrero was signed to the WWE&#8217;s developmental, first with <strong>Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW)<\/strong> and then the early days of NXT in 2012, as <strong>Raquel Diaz<\/strong>, where she was a 2x Women&#8217;s Champion in FCW. She left wrestling shortly after that to find herself, before returning to the industry that bore her this year. Shaul Guerrero isn&#8217;t going to be performing in the ring though. Shaul Guerrero has been hired to be the ring announcer for WOW, following a chance meeting at a <strong>Lucha Underground<\/strong> taping. &#8220;\u201cWhile attending this past summer\u2019s\u00a0<i>Lucha Underground\u00a0<\/i>tapings, I was standing near the back of the arena and heard a powerful, dynamic voice in the ring,\u201d co-founder David McLane said in the AXS Press Release. \u201cI had no clue at the time that is was Shaul Guerrero. I just knew whoever it was needed to be the new ring announcer of WOW.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>GISELE SHAW<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-26926\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/09\/Gisele_Shaw_-_070215-e1538013531119.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"600\"><\/p>\n<p>Another name announced is emerging star <strong>Gisele Shaw<\/strong>, a Canadian wrestler whose been working through the ranks since she debuted in 2015. Trained in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at <strong>Storm Wrestling Academy<\/strong> under the guidance of former WWE, WCW and ECW Superstar <strong>Lance Storm<\/strong>, Shaw follows a long line of women trained by Storm who are now trailblazers in women&#8217;s wrestling, like <strong>Chelsea Green, Taya Valkyrie, Rachael Ellering, Peyton Royce<\/strong> and <strong>Tenille Dashwood<\/strong> (Emma). She initially started on Western Canada indies, like Saskatchewan&#8217;s <strong>High Impact Wrestling (HIW)<\/strong> and Edmonton&#8217;s <strong>Prairie Wrestling Alliance (PWA)<\/strong> and <strong>Real Canadian Wrestling (RCW)<\/strong>. Last year, she made the move to Ontario, working for Toronto&#8217;s <strong>Smash Wrestling<\/strong> and <strong>Destiny World Wrestling (DWW)<\/strong>, Goderich&#8217;s <strong>Pure Wrestling Alliance (PWA)<\/strong> and Windsor&#8217;s <strong>Border City Wrestling (BCW)<\/strong>. This year, she&#8217;s also appeared on two <strong>IMPACT Wrestling<\/strong> <em>One Night Only<\/em> events &#8211; at <em><strong>March Breakdown<\/strong><\/em> against <strong>Madison Rayne<\/strong>, then at <em><strong>Bad Intentions<\/strong> <\/em>in an IMPACT Knockouts title match against Tessa Blanchard just last month &#8211; and has just been announced for the October <strong>One Night Only<\/strong>, <em><strong>BCW&#8217;s 25th Anniversary<\/strong><\/em>, where she&#8217;ll face <strong>Keira Hogan<\/strong>.
