Hot on the heels of recent shows like the <em><strong>Nick Gage Invitational 3 (NGI3)<\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong>Joey Janela&#8217;s Lost in New York<\/strong><\/em>, GCW is emerging as one of the strongest and most reliable East Coast indies, and <em>Live Fast, Die Young<\/em> is looking like another strong outing. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fite.tv\/watch\/gcw-wrestling-live-fast-die-young\/2oasy\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">event will also be live on iPPV through the Fite.tv app<\/a> for only $10.99 USD. Here&#8217;s a look at this Friday&#8217;s card so far.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Tony Deppen vs. &#8220;Spyder&#8221; Nate Webb<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_26103\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-26103\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-26103 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/09\/Dm2gpMPXoAAXF60-e1537200608980.jpg\" alt=\"GCW\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-26103\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Tony Deppen<\/strong> is looking to regain his momentum after his 315 day reign as GCW Extreme Champion came to an end last week at GCW&#8217;s <em>NGI3<\/em> when <strong>PCO<\/strong> won the title in a Fatal 4-Way match and he&#8217;s going to have to go through hardcore veteran <strong>Nate Webb<\/strong> to do so. Webb was also in the 4-Way where Deppen lost his belt, so Deppen will have some payback in mind against the former 2x IWA Mid South Light Heavyweight and CZW World Tag Team Champion.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Marko Stunt &amp; Eli Firefly vs. Gringo Loco &amp; KTB<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_26109\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-26109\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-26109 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/09\/DnO5bn2X0AA0KxQ-e1537200624330.jpg\" alt=\"GCW\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-26109\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Arguably the most insane moment of\u00a0<em>Joey Janela&#8217;s Lost in New York\u00a0<\/em>was <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/08\/19\/mr-fun-size-an-exclusive-interview-with-marko-stunt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">virtual unknown <strong>Marko Stunt<\/strong><\/a> stunning the wrestling world when he answered <strong>Kyle The Beast (KTB)<\/strong>&#8216;s open challenge and <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/08\/18\/size-doesnt-matter-when-youre-the-guy-marko-stunt-makes-his-mark\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">became a viral sensation<\/a>. KTB is looking for payback for the public humiliation, but he&#8217;s not coming alone. He&#8217;s teaming with the veteran <strong>Gringo Loco<\/strong> to take on Stunt and his equally athletic enigma of a partner, <strong>Eli Everfly<\/strong>, in what should be an entertaining showcase of all four men.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Markus Crane vs. G-Raver<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_26108\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-26108\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-26108 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/09\/DnMyXFSUwAEJWOQ-e1537200640974.jpg\" alt=\"GCW\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-26108\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A long time star with Chicago&#8217;s <strong>All American Wrestling (AAW)<\/strong>, <strong>Markus Crane<\/strong> made the move over to GCW in 2016 and has become a beast on a mission to destroy the opposition. Last week he made the finals for the\u00a0<em>NGI3<\/em>, ultimately losing in the 4-way final to <strong>Masashi Takeda<\/strong>, but he&#8217;s still had a great run in GCW this year. He&#8217;s facing another indie veteran in the maniacal <strong>G-Raver<\/strong>, in what should be one of the night&#8217;s bloodiest battles.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Teddy Hart vs. Jack Evans<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_26107\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-26107\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-26107\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/09\/DnBGIshVYAE6LfX-e1537200658646.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-26107\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Longtime tag team partners <strong>Teddy Hart<\/strong> and <strong>Jack Evans<\/strong> square off in what should be an absolute clinic between two old friends. Both Hart and Evans were two of the last trainees in the Hart Family dungeon, with Evans joining Teddy in a new version of the <strong>Hart Foundation<\/strong> for years on the indies, in <strong>Ring of Honor, AAA<\/strong> and more. It&#8217;s a homecoming of sorts for the two, returning to New Jersey, as both were regular stars with <strong>Jersey All Pro Wrestling (JAPW)<\/strong> in the mid 2000s.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>GCW Extreme Championship Match: PCO (c) vs. Jimmy Lloyd<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_26106\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-26106\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-26106\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/09\/DnAQdERW0AA3d9V-e1537200676749.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-26106\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8220;Not Human&#8221; <strong>PCO<\/strong> makes his first title defense since capturing the GCW Extreme Championship last weekend at\u00a0<em>NGI3<\/em>, when he defeated former champion Tony Deppen, Nate Webb and Gringo Loco in a fatal 4-way. One of the indie scene&#8217;s current tough guys will be facing a young man with a penchant for violence &#8211; to others and to himself &#8211; in former <strong>H20<\/strong> Hybrid Champion and CZW\/GCW regular<strong> Jimmy Lloyd<\/strong>. The new prince of hardcore is challenging for a title in his home state this Friday, so expect this to be another bloody affair with a lot of emotion.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Joey Janela (w\/ Penelope Ford) vs. Psicosis<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_26104\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-26104\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-26104\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/09\/Dm11YfCX4AI8fvH-e1537200695736.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-26104\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Joey Janela<\/strong>&#8216;s been on a bit of a dream match tour this year, facing such legends as <strong>Ultimo Dragon, The Great Sasake, Jinsei Shinzaki, D&#8217;Lo Brown<\/strong> and <strong>Marty Jannetty<\/strong>. It continues on Friday, when Janela faces off against former 2x WCW Cruiserweight Champion and lucha libre legend<strong> Psicosis<\/strong>. Since leaving the WWE in 2006, Psicosis has continued to perform regularly in Mexico with AAA, <strong>The Crash Lucha<\/strong>, and many other Mexican indies.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>GCW World Championship Match: Nick Gage (c) vs. Rich Swann<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_26102\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-26102\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-26102\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/09\/Dl7-4anUcAISlkq-e1537200711331.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-26102\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Although both got their early breaks with <strong>Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW)<\/strong>, these two men have yet to cross paths but on Friday night, GCW World Champion Nick Gage puts the belt on the line against former WWE Cruiserweight Champion <strong>Rich Swann<\/strong>. It&#8217;s been a match a long time coming, as Swann took a shot at Gage&#8217;s prior criminal history early this May, prompting Gage to tell Swann to settle the differences in a fight.
