{"id":25594,"date":"2018-09-09T15:25:02","date_gmt":"2018-09-09T19:25:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/?p=25594"},"modified":"2018-09-09T15:25:02","modified_gmt":"2018-09-09T19:25:02","slug":"ultimo-ninja-meet-nxts-humberto-carrillo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2018\/09\/09\/ultimo-ninja-meet-nxts-humberto-carrillo\/","title":{"rendered":"Ultimo Ninja: Meet NXT&#8217;s Humberto Carrillo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you have been paying attention to the new influx of talent that is debuting in <strong>WWE<\/strong> NXT, you might have notice that there is a new resident Mexican star in their line up. <strong>Humberto Carrillo<\/strong>\u00a0has been appearing at recent NXT Live Events\u00a0and many fans are wondering, &#8220;who is he?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/LuchaParaTodos\/status\/1035341829485547520<\/p>\n<p>Carrillo is none other that the young and exiting <strong>Ultimo Ninja<\/strong>\u00a0from Mexico.\u00a0Ultimo Ninja comes from a family of wrestlers that include his father<strong> Humberto Garza<\/strong>, his uncles <strong>H\u00e9ctor Garza<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Ninja Jr.,\u00a0<\/strong>and his cousin <strong>Garza Jr. <\/strong>He barely had a long career in Mexico. He&#8217;s 22 year old and wrestled for companies like <strong>The Crash Lucha Libre<\/strong>, <strong>RevoLucha<\/strong>, <strong>ELITE<\/strong>, among others. Ultimo Ninja was barely 15 when he started his training. His indie appearances were limited, but he managed to carve his presence in Mexico City.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bandido, Golden magic y \u00daltimo Ninja buscan m\u00e1scaras y campeonatos en Liga Elite\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DCq0dA3ifBM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It was in Lucha Libre ELITE that we saw a major profile of the now Humberto Carrillo.\u00a0 Carrillo wrestled alongside family member like Ninja Jr. and Garza, but his most exiting matches came with Mexican rising star <strong>Bandido<\/strong>. Alongside Bandido, Carrillo really showed his skills and was able to elevate his career. In the next two years &#8211; 2017 and 2018 &#8211; Carrillo would wrestle for Mexico&#8217;s third best promotion The Crash Lucha Libre. At Crash, alongside his cousin Garza Jr., Carrillo won the Tag Team titles. Carrillo in that span wrestled for <strong>NOAH<\/strong> in Japan, <strong>Major League Wrestling (MLW)<\/strong>\u00a0and finally WWE.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Where&#8217;s Garza Jr.?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Carrillo move to WWE was reported back in June. Fans expected to see Rebelion Amarilla&#8217;s leader Garza Jr. joining the yellow brand soon. It&#8217;s being speculated that it won&#8217;t be long before he joins, since Garza already has a replacement in his stable of la Rebelion Amarilla with PCW Ultra&#8217;s <strong>Jacob Fatu<\/strong>. It would be the second member of <em>La Rebelion Amarilla<\/em> to join WWE, after <strong>Lacey Lane<\/strong> joined the company for the <em>Mae Young Classic II<\/em>. The pair of wrestlers are extremely young &#8211; 22 and 25 &#8211; and are starting to touch their peak recently.
