In his first defence a week later, Callihan lost it back to Irie at the following week&#8217;s <em>Rockstar Pro Amped<\/em> event. Irie returned to Japan in his third run as champion, but in\u00a0<em>his\u00a0<\/em>first defense of the reign, he lost it Danshoku Dino two weeks ago. Much like how IWGP is the kayfabe governing body of <strong>New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW)<\/strong>, King of DDT (KO-D) is the governing body of DDT Pro.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_25003\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-25003\" style=\"width: 440px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-25003\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/08\/IbY6akC-e1535489924702.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"440\" height=\"550\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-25003\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Meiko with the FCP Championship (Photo: Robyn Goding \/ Beyond Gorilla Photography)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>After conquering multiple promotions, holding the World titles in Japanese promotions like Sendai Girls, <strong>Stardom<\/strong>, and <strong>GAEA<\/strong>, Meiko Satomura has gone on a bit of an international excursion of late, wrestling in the UK and US more frequently than before &#8211; her last big stint in the US was in 1996-1997, when she was part of <strong>World Championship Wrestling (WCW)<\/strong>&#8216;s women&#8217;s division. But she adds the KO-D Openweight Championship to another men&#8217;s title she recently acquired, when she defeated <strong>Chris Brookes<\/strong> for the <strong>Fight Club PRO<\/strong> Championship in the UK in March of this year (which she still holds).
