Instead, CMLL presented Ring of Honor star<strong> Matt Taven<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Volador Jr.<\/strong> vs. Rush &amp; <strong>Barbaro Cavernario<\/strong> in a hair vs. hair match.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24616\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24616\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24616\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/08\/cmll-taven-e1535127166120.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24616\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: CMLL<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The news resulted in a lot of fans calling out CMLL for their incompetence and even Rush, in the press conference, refused to sign the main event contract. LA Park took twitter to ask Rush to wait for him after this Friday&#8217;s <em><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2018\/08\/22\/preview-aaa-triplemania-xxvi-25-08-18\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TripleMania XXVI<\/a><\/em> show were he&#8217;s putting his hair on the line against <strong>Hijo del Fantasma<\/strong>, <strong>Psycho Clown<\/strong> and <strong>Pentagon Jr.\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/cmll.com\/?p=154927\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">In a press release<\/a> and through CMLL Informa, the company accused AAA and LA Park for the fallout of the <em>Aniversario 85<\/em> main event.<\/p>\n<p>Now, in CMLL Informa, <strong>Julio C\u00e9sar Rivera<\/strong> told fans that Park vs. Rush didn&#8217;t happened because <strong>Adolfo Tapia<\/strong> was tied up legally to AAA. C\u00e9sar explained further that AAA had sent letters to all of their television distributors if the LA Park\/Rush match was ever announced. CMLL washed their hands with me. The lie is always going to fall, that&#8217;s a vile lie, I have all my papers and I can prove that AAA has nothing to mess with my character. Although the company has a bad reputation of retaining trademarks from former talents, the heat between Tapia and AAA had calmed down.
