James Drake) vs Mills and Mayhew (Connor Mills &amp; Maverick Mayhew)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24592\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24592\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24592\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/08\/DlEP0yZWsAEUhCT-e1535123577851.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24592\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Grizzled Young Vets emerged from the US tour without their tag titles, as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/08\/12\/andnew-flamito-and-bandido-win-progress-tag-team-titles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Bandido\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Flamita\u00a0<\/strong>now hold the titles<\/a> that GYV have held for most of the year.\u00a0 An angry pairing of WWE UK stars is bad news for the young\u00a0upstarts Mills and Mayhew who have only one win in the series so far.\u00a0 Mills and Mayhew are the future of the scene but neither man may have much of a future after dealing with a pissed off GYV.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Match 2: Chris Brookes &amp; Timothy Thatcher vs Aussie Open (Mark Davis &amp; Kyle Fletcher)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24591\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24591\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24591\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/08\/DlEhAwZXoAAUW67-e1535123598649.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24591\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Poor Chris Brookes has had the worst luck this year with tag team partners.\u00a0 With\u00a0<strong>Kid Lykos\u00a0<\/strong>he was back at the top of the tag mountain after winning the titles in America, but Lykos once again got injured.\u00a0 Brookes persevered\u00a0and reformed the OG CCK with\u00a0<strong>Jonathan Gresham<\/strong>, who also went down with an injury,\u00a0<strong>A.R Fox\u00a0<\/strong>stepped in as they lost the titles to Bandido and Flamita.\u00a0 Safe to say Brookes had a rollercoaster of emotions once again.\u00a0 His latest recruit is as left field as it gets, with\u00a0<strong>Ringkampf&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>Timothy Thatcher stepping in to tag with Brookes for the tag team series.\u00a0 Brookes and Thatcher won&#8217;t have time to gel as they face Aussie Open who over the last two months have stepped up big delivering classic matches and joining\u00a0<strong>Schandenfreude<\/strong>, the top stable in\u00a0<strong>Fight Club: PRO,\u00a0<\/strong>and turning heel and making their claim for the titles in\u00a0<strong>Over The Top (OTT) Wrestling<\/strong>.\u00a0 Four awesome tag wrestlers, one match, this will be great.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Match 3: House of Couture (Jinny, Chakara, Charlie Morgan &amp; Nina Samuels) vs Team Toni (Toni Storm, Millie McKenzie, Laura Di Matteo &amp; Candyfloss)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24590\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24590\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24590\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/08\/DlD-rPJUwAEkVi4-e1535123620933.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24590\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As we head for PROGRESS Wembley, we still have no indication of what Jinny will be up to.\u00a0 This clash of the Women&#8217;s division should see a challenger for Jinny emerge and maybe lay down a challenge.\u00a0 This match is the first time\u00a0we have seen Storm get some backup and take on the House of Couture in a fair fight.\u00a0 Jinny and co. have used the numbers game to their advantage at every opportunity but now, the women&#8217;s division fights back.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Match 4: Doug Williams &amp; WALTER vs British Strong Style (Pete Dunne &amp; Trent Seven)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24595\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24595\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24595\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/08\/PROGRESS-WALTER-VS-Dunne-696x392-e1535123672611.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24595\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>It wouldn&#8217;t be a go-home show without a TAG TEAM MATCH PLAYA.\u00a0 Seven and Williams square off ahead of their anticipated ATLAS championship match at Wembley, which may prove to be Williams&#8217; last.\u00a0 The eye grabbers in this one are WALTER and Dunne.\u00a0 Dunne finds himself on course for a collision with Unbeziegbar\u00a0<strong>Ilja\u00a0Dragunov<\/strong>.\u00a0 A man that WALTER knows all too well, as they have put on many classic matches in\u00a0<strong>Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw)\u00a0<\/strong>in Germany.\u00a0 \u00a0If Dunne can beat WALTER, he knows he can beat Dragunov and prove he is the best wrestler in Europe.\u00a0 Beating WALTER is easier said than done.\u00a0 The Austrian juggernaut has been on a tear in 2018, capturing gold everywhere he goes and leaving a trail of broken bodies and discoloured chests in his path.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Match 5: Mark Haskins vs Tyler Bate<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24593\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24593\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24593\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/08\/DlT7jBrXoAAAhQ4-e1535123709205.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24593\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Winner takes all as Haskins and Bate choose to face each other for a place in the World title match at Wembley.\u00a0 These two have been at odds before, when Haskins joined Jimmy Havoc to fend off the nefarious British Strong Style.\u00a0 And again when Havoc and Haskins joined the tag team division.\u00a0 Haskins needs to go through Bate to try and win back the title he never lost.\u00a0 Bate need to overcome Haskins to earn his shot to finally win the PROGRESS World Championship.\u00a0 Two of the UKs best square off for all the marbles as the PROGRESS Wembley main event starts to take shape<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Match 6: No Disqualification, 2\/3 Falls Match: Jimmy Havoc vs Will Ospreay<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24594\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24594\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24594\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/08\/DlToCqmXsAAlu8R-e1535123730434.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24594\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>If you need anything to sell you on this match, which you shouldn&#8217;t, it would be Havoc&#8217;s promo <em>(see below)<\/em>.\u00a0 The feud that built both man&#8217;s legacy, the feud that built this company and the feud that could finally reawaken the monster <strong>Jimmy F&#8217;n Havoc<\/strong>.\u00a0 Ever since losing his title and missing a year of action, James has been a shadow of his former self.\u00a0 He understands why PROGRESS don&#8217;t book him though, he hasn&#8217;t got three letters attached to his name, he isn&#8217;t Australian or German, he&#8217;s just a battered and broken former champion.\u00a0 At Havoc&#8217;s lowest point, Ospreay has been there to call him out wondering where Jimmy Havoc, the man that took an axe to Ospreay&#8217;s neck, has gone.\u00a0 James knows what Ospreay knows, for Jimmy Havoc to come back Ospreay must be put down once and for all.\u00a0 Will we see the old Jimmy come back? Or is Ospreay right? The biggest feud in PROGRESS history comes down to this as the two men that built the company got to war, One. Last.
