This summer, he&#8217;s throwing another huge event, <em><strong>Joey Janela Lost in New York<\/strong><\/em>, this time over <strong>SummerSlam<\/strong> weekend in New York City (near WWE&#8217;s location for <em><strong>NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV<\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong>SummerSlam<\/strong><\/em>) and it&#8217;s another dream fantasy card, once again sponsored by <strong>Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)<\/strong>. He&#8217;s also teamed up in Mexico with the\u00a0<strong>Desastre Total Ultraviolento (DTU)<\/strong> hardcore promotion with another entrant, <strong>G-Raver<\/strong>, whose competed for over a decade with the likes of <strong>H20<\/strong>, GCW, CZW, DTU, <strong>Renegade Wrestling Alliance (RWA)<\/strong> and <strong>Vicious Outlaw Wrestling (VOW)<\/strong>. <strong>Gringo Loco<\/strong> made his name in Chicago, with the likes of <strong>All American Wrestling (AAW), GALLI Lucha<\/strong> and <strong>Resistance Pro Wrestling (RPW)<\/strong>, as well as Ohio&#8217;s <strong>Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW)<\/strong>, <strong>Freelance<\/strong>, and recently GCW and <strong>Aro Lucha<\/strong>. The final entrant is the enigmatic high risk taker <strong>Eli Everfly<\/strong>, whose been soaring to new heights in the past year with the likes of <strong>Bar Wrestling<\/strong>, GCW, <strong>PWG, Limitless<\/strong> and more, after starting out with <strong>Santino Bros<\/strong> on the West Coast. An <strong>IWA Mid South<\/strong> mainstay his entire career, he&#8217;s also worked with GCW, CZW, <strong>Ring of Honor, TNA<\/strong> and many more throughout his lengthy career. He&#8217;s facing <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/07\/31\/andnew-mjf-wins-mlw-world-middleweight-championship-continuing-break-out-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">one of the hottest young wrestlers in the indie world<\/a> in current CZW World Heavyweight Champion and <strong>Major League Wrestling (MLW)<\/strong> Middleweight Champion <strong>The MJF<\/strong>. Trained by <strong>Create A Pro<\/strong> under the guidance of <strong>Curt Hawkins<\/strong> and <strong>Pat Buck<\/strong>, MJF has taken his vile bravado across the globe, working for the likes of Beyond Wrestling, <strong>House of Hardcore<\/strong>, AAW, AIW, CZW, GCW, <strong>Rockstar Pro<\/strong> and countless other US indies, not to mention <strong>Alpha-1<\/strong> and <strong>Smash Wrestling<\/strong> in Canada, as well as UK appearances with <strong>PROGRESS, Preston City Wrestling (PCW), IPW:UK<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Chris Dickinson vs. Teddy Hart<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_23504\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-23504\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23504\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/08\/DjHV5JCUwAAeFlG-e1533689801845.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-23504\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One of the bad boys of the early indie scene and a regular with <strong>Jersey All Pro Wrestling (JAPW)<\/strong>, <strong>AAA, Stampede Wrestling<\/strong> and others, Teddy Hart faded away into a career of turmoil and bad decisions. But arguably the most innovative and naturally gifted member of the legendary Hart Family from Calgary, Alberta, Canada has seen a personal turnaround in the past year, and Teddy Hart has never been better &#8211; both as a wrestler and a person. The rejuvenated Teddy Hart takes on one of the indie scene&#8217;s roughest and toughest men in &#8220;Dirty Daddy&#8221; <strong>Chris Dickinson<\/strong>. A long time regular with Beyond Wrestling, as well as a mainstay in the <strong>Catch Point<\/strong> faction in <strong>EVOLVE<\/strong>, Dickinson is one half of <strong>Doom Patrol<\/strong> with <strong>Jaka<\/strong>, 2x EVOLVE Tag Team Champions, currently on a 315+ day reign. In Canada, Dickinson also wrestles for a promotion called <strong>Inter Species Wrestling (ISW)<\/strong>, where he&#8217;s the reigning ISW Undisputed King of Crazy Champion, and he&#8217;s got a suitable opponent to challenge for such a crown in the crazy talented Teddy Hart.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Nick Gage vs. Meng (Haku)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_23507\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-23507\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23507\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/08\/DjjKFFFW0AYMuoZ-e1533689820822.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-23507\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Arguably the king of American hardcore, <strong>Nick Gage<\/strong> has been a part of the most violent scenes in North America since the late 90s with CZW, where he was a 4x CZW World Heavyweight Champion. In 2015, he realigned himself to GCW, where he&#8217;s the reigning GCW World Champion and IWA Mid South Heavyweight Champion, continuing his now third decade of destruction. But at <em>Lost in New York<\/em>, he faces a man that is arguably considered one of the most dangerous men in the history of professional wrestling, in the monster called <strong>Meng<\/strong>. Also known as <strong>Haku<\/strong> from his WWE days, <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/07\/08\/tama-tonga-firing-squad-bullet-club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">he recently made headlines in Japan<\/a>, joining his sons <strong>Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga &amp; Tanga Loa)<\/strong> in decimating <strong>Bullet Club<\/strong>, with Haku delivering a deadly piledriver to <strong>Kenny Omega<\/strong> himself. A battle for the ages, featuring two absolutely fearless and violent men.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Joey Janela (w\/ Penelope Ford) vs. Jinsei Shinzaki (Hakushi)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_23506\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-23506\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-23506 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/08\/Djs2MZAXgAExtK--e1533689741341.jpg\" alt=\"Joey Janela\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-23506\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Joey Janela continues his trend of facing Japanese legends, having previously defeated <strong>The Great Sasuke<\/strong> at <em>Joey Janela&#8217;s Spring Break 2<\/em> and then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DVWYKSmPRi8\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">losing to <strong>Ultimo Dragon<\/strong> this past June at WrestlePro<\/a>. The latest &#8220;boss&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/06\/28\/joey-janela-vs-hakushi-lost-in-new-york-main-event-announced-via-80s-action-film\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">on his video game quest<\/a> is <strong>Michinoku Pro<\/strong> legend <strong>Jinsei Shinzaki,<\/strong> who many North American fans will remember from his WWE run as <strong>Hakushi<\/strong>. But if he&#8217;s going out, he&#8217;s going to try and take out <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/05\/03\/pco-the-redemption-of-pierre-carl-ouellette\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">one of the most insane comebacks in wrestling history<\/a>. Former 3x WWE Tag Team Champion <strong>Pierre Carl Ouellette<\/strong> of <strong>The Quebecers<\/strong> has been seemingly transformed by a twisted mad scientist of pain named <strong>Destro<\/strong> into the &#8220;Not Human&#8221; <strong>PCO<\/strong>. PCO has become one of the most &#8220;must see&#8221; monsters on the indie scene today.
