They may be dream matches, first-time\u00a0matchups,\u00a0or hotly anticipated rematches.\u00a0<\/em>Today\u2019s edition focuses on a huge match up at next week’s\u00a0Joey Janela’s Lost In New York<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0a Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)<\/strong> production next week on Friday August 17. In what could very well be Matt Riddle’s last indie appearance before heading to NXT, the former UFC star faces one of the toughest men on the indie circuit right now, “Not Human” PCO.<\/em><\/p>\n

On what may turn out to be Matt Riddle’s very last indie date<\/a>, he has a dream showdown with the miracle man PCO.\u00a0\u00a0Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)\u00a0<\/strong>are the only company that could book such insanity and it is fitting that it take’s place on the\u00a0Joey Janela’s Lost In New York\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>show.\u00a0 On August 17th we will see these two warriors do battle.<\/p>\n

Riddle has become the cornerstone of US independent wrestling over the last few years.\u00a0 Having made the jump from the world of Mixed Martial Arts, after being released from the\u00a0Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)\u00a0<\/strong>despite a four-fight\u00a0win streak, Riddle took to wrestling like a duck to water.\u00a0 His cool, laid-back personality helped him fit in with the indie scene.\u00a0 He also had a star power and presence that few could\u00a0match.\u00a0 During his indie run, Riddle has put it all together and become one of the best wrestlers in the world using his MMA background and agility to become a fantastic all-around talent.\u00a0 He can grapple with the best of them, fly around the ring in a sprint, and most importantly\u00a0he can absorb and dish out stiff, hard strikes.\u00a0 With his level of talent, it is no wonder the WWE has come calling.<\/p>\n

PCO<\/strong><\/h3>\n

PCO is the miracle story of 2018<\/a>.\u00a0 At 50 years old and almost two decades on from his runs in\u00a0WWE\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0WCW,\u00a0<\/strong>he became an overnight sensation following a match with\u00a0WALTER\u00a0<\/strong>at\u00a0Joey Janela’s Spring Break 2<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Despite his age, PCO can still move and there is a morbid interest that comes with seeing him do Tope’s moonsaults and get hit really\u00a0hard.\u00a0 PCO stands as arguably one of the last remaining super indie names in the US once Riddle leaves.\u00a0 And if this is, in fact,\u00a0Riddle’s last independent\u00a0match before being signed, there aren’t many better opponents than PCO.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
