After initial reports the night of the G1 Special stated he&#8217;d broken his neck, there was some relief <a href=\"https:\/\/www.njpw1972.com\/31187\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">when he was flown back to Japan for further treatment<\/a> &#8211; if his injury had been that serious he&#8217;d most likely have been grounded.
