But tonight, GCW and Joey Janela announced the main event for\u00a0<em>Lost In New York<\/em>, once again following the intergenerational theme. The big reveal came via a cool retro 80s kung fu\/action short film.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"but first you must face.. | Joey Janela&#039;s Lost In New York\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yHZhvHVemUc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The man revealed at the end as one of the &#8220;bosses&#8221; (like in a kung fu video game like Double Dragon, <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/02\/19\/joey-janela-announces-new-match-spring-break-2-retro-video-game-promo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">which was a theme with WALTER vs PCO reveal<\/a> for the first\u00a0<em>Spring Break<\/em>), is Japanese legend <strong>Jinsei Shinzaki<\/strong>, a 25-year veteran and co-founder of <strong>Michinoku Pro Wrestling (MPW)<\/strong> in Japan. The 51-year old puroresu star also had notable matches and runs with both\u00a0<strong>All Japan\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>NJPW<\/strong>, even wrestling for <strong>Pro Wrestling NOAH<\/strong> and recently, <strong>WRESTLE-1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PuhIO1Z6CfY<\/p>\n<p>But to many North American fans, he&#8217;s best remembered for three year stint as the warrior monk Hakushi, from 1994 through 1996. He started off on a winning streak, and had some great matches with the likes of <strong>Bret &#8220;Hitman&#8221; Hart<\/strong>, <strong>Owen Hart<\/strong> and <strong>1-2-3 Kid<\/strong>, but he also got held up in feuds with <strong>Bodydonna Skip\u00a0<\/strong>(Chris Candido), <strong>Savio Vega<\/strong> and <strong>Adam Bomb<\/strong> that stopped most of his momentum. After leaving the WWF, he made a stop in ECW in 1998, teaming with <strong>Hayabusa<\/strong> to face ECW Tag Team Champions <strong>Rob Van Dam &amp; Sabu<\/strong> at <em><strong>ECW Heat Wave &#8217;98<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"RVD\/Sabu vs. Hayabusa\/Jinsei Shinzaki - 8\/2\/1998\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eAhspD5QG5k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A 4x MPW Tag Team Champion and All Japan All Asia Tag Team Champion, this makes the second straight Michinoku Pro legend to face Janela at his shows &#8211; at this year&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Spring Break 2<\/em>, Janela defeated MPW&#8217;s other co-founder, 3x MPW Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion <strong>The Great Sasuke<\/strong>.
