The 38-year old Joshi Legend is one of the most respected wrestlers in the world and a true pioneer of joshi puroresu in Japan and inspiration worldwide. She began in Nagayo&#8217;s <strong>GAEA<\/strong> promotion in 1995 and spent the next decade as a GAEA regular, as well as performing with <strong>Japan Women&#8217;s Pro-Wrestling Project (JWP)<\/strong> and<strong> OZ Academy<\/strong>. She also did special attraction matches with <strong>NJPW<\/strong> and <strong>Big Japan<\/strong>, and in 1996 took part in WCW&#8217;s short lived women&#8217;s division in the US (when she was only 17 years old).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_20160\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-20160\" style=\"width: 550px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20160\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/06\/SEIKO-e1528992365333.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"388\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-20160\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: WWE Network<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In 2006, she founded Sendai Girls (after GAEA folded in 2005), which has become one of Japan&#8217;s top Joshi promotions, as well as training many future stars. She&#8217;s continued to work elsewhere as well, including <strong>Stardom<\/strong>. In 2012, she made her <strong>CHIKARA<\/strong> debut in that year&#8217;s <strong>King of Trios<\/strong>, leading her Team Sendai (alongside <strong>DASH Chisako<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Sendai Sachiko<\/strong>) to the Semi Finals. She returned for the 2016 King of Trios, and this time (with <strong>Cassandra Miyagi<\/strong> replacing Sachiko) the Sendai Girls won the tournament. The same squad made the finals again for last year&#8217;s King of Trios, but lost out to <strong>British Strong Style<\/strong> (Pete Dunne, Trent Seven &amp; Tyler Bate).
