That he was currently in training to become a Marvel character for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Here&#8217;s a few possibilities of who Thaddeus Bullard Jr. (Titus&#8217; real name) could be portraying in the MCU.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>WHO WE CAN RULE OUT<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_18998\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18998\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18998\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/05\/Luke_cage_cover-e1526592256434.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"316\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-18998\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Netflix<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Some fans are clamoring for it to be <strong>Luke Cage<\/strong>, apparently oblivious to the fact that Luke Cage has already been portrayed in several Netflix series (including\u00a0<em><strong>Jessica Jones, Luke Cage\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>and\u00a0<em><strong>The Defenders<\/strong><\/em>) by actor <strong>Mike Colter<\/strong>. While recasting has been done before, such as <strong>Don Cheadle<\/strong> taking over <strong>James Rhodes<\/strong>\/War Machine from Terrence Howard, a recasting of Luke Cage is highly improbable. Another African-American hero we know that&#8217;s coming to the small screen is <strong>Cloak<\/strong>, from the duo <strong>Cloak &amp; Dagger<\/strong>, but considering the series will focus on them as teenagers from their early days, a 41-year old Bullard Jr. is probably not up for that role.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>BLADE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_18997\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18997\" style=\"width: 423px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18997\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/05\/1418369633_bleyd-marvel.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"423\" height=\"467\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/05\/1418369633_bleyd-marvel.jpg 423w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/05\/1418369633_bleyd-marvel-272x300.jpg 272w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/05\/1418369633_bleyd-marvel-380x420.jpg 380w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 423px) 100vw, 423px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-18997\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Marvel Comics<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Marvel&#8217;s half-vampire vampire hunter <strong>Blade<\/strong> has seen the silver screen treatment before, in three films around the turn of the millenium (<em><strong>Blade<\/strong><\/em> in 1998, <em><strong>Blade II<\/strong><\/em> in 2002, and <em><strong>Blade: Trinity<\/strong><\/em> in 2004) that starred <strong>Wesley Snipes<\/strong> in the lead role. The original trilogy was released by New Line Cinema, but in 2011, the film rights reverted back to Marvel Studios. Last summer, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige stated that bringing Blade back into the MCU &#8220;would be cool, someday&#8221; when asked, so it&#8217;s at least in the wheelhouse. But with so many films already planned over the next few years, if Blade\u00a0<em>was\u00a0<\/em>to be the role he&#8217;s currently preparing for, it would most likely be as a cameo in another film or TV series.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>VANCE ASTRO<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_18994\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18994\" style=\"width: 442px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18994\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/05\/Major_Victory_Head.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"442\" height=\"411\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/05\/Major_Victory_Head.jpg 442w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/05\/Major_Victory_Head-300x279.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 442px) 100vw, 442px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-18994\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Marvel Comics<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Vance Astro<\/strong>, also known as Captain Victory, is potentially one of the more likely. Astro is from the future (or the past, you know how comics timelines can be) and is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy in the comic books. With <em><strong>Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3<\/strong><\/em> gearing up for pre-production, appearing in a movie alongside his buddy Batista could be why he said &#8220;see you soon&#8221; and why Batista signed off his congratulatory tweet with &#8220;Drax&#8221;. As in, one in the X-Men Universe. 20th Century Fox announced that plans for a film about X-Man <strong>Gambit<\/strong> is still going on and that pre-production starts this summer. Gambit is a southern hero from New Orleans, Louisiana, and if the action stays in his home area, he may have an ally that he can call on &#8211; another New Orleans superhero called <strong>Brother Voodoo<\/strong>. Brother Voodoo has worked with all kinds of heroes, from <strong>Dr. Strange<\/strong> to <strong>Spider-Man<\/strong> to <strong>Black Panther<\/strong>. He even helped Gambit protect New Orleans from an army of zombies.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>GENIS-VELL<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_18996\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18996\" style=\"width: 330px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18996\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/05\/Captain-Marvel-Marvel-Comics-Genis-Vell-Legacy-a-e1526592279598.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"330\" height=\"600\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-18996\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Marvel Comics<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another Marvel film in production is <em><strong>Captain Marvel<\/strong><\/em>, featuring <strong>Brie Larson<\/strong> in the lead role as <strong>Carol Danvers<\/strong>. Captain Marvel&#8217;s power comes from the Kree race and they&#8217;re going to need some of those characters to work into Danvers&#8217; story and while <strong>Genis-Vell<\/strong> is the son of Mar-Vell (the original Captain Marvel), Genis-Vell has been more active of late in the comics. And while the character is white in the comic books, Marvel has shown that Kree characters can be either, as\u00a0<b>Djimon Hounsou\u00a0<\/b>portrayed the Kree character <strong>Korath The Pursuer<\/strong> in <em><strong>Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 1<\/strong><\/em> (and is set to reprise that role in <em>Captain Marvel<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Who do you think Titus O&#8217;Neil could be portraying?
