{"id":18509,"date":"2018-05-04T10:00:13","date_gmt":"2018-05-04T14:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/?p=18509"},"modified":"2018-05-04T10:01:53","modified_gmt":"2018-05-04T14:01:53","slug":"hes-back-chris-jericho-returns-to-njpw-and-takes-out-naito","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2018\/05\/04\/hes-back-chris-jericho-returns-to-njpw-and-takes-out-naito\/","title":{"rendered":"He&#8217;s Back: Chris Jericho Returns To NJPW And Takes Out Naito (VIDEO)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After convincing fans around the world a few weeks back that his affiliation with NJPW was over, and appearing back with the WWE for last week&#8217;s <em><strong>Greatest Royal Rumble<\/strong><\/em>, <strong>Chris Jericho<\/strong> shocked the world once again by appearing at today&#8217;s <em><strong>NJPW Wrestling Dontaku<\/strong><\/em>, emerging from the crowd to assault IWGP Intercontinental Champion <strong>Tetsuya Naito<\/strong> and leaving the leader of <strong>Los Ingobernables de Japon<\/strong> a bloodied mess.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=n95S9OFRFPk<\/p>\n<p>Following his loss to <strong>Kenny Omega<\/strong> at<em><strong> Wrestle Kingdom 12<\/strong><\/em> earlier this year, Jericho attacked Naito at New Year Dash the following night. But it&#8217;s clear now that his run is far from over and that indeed, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/04\/29\/andnew-tetsuya-naito-wins-iwgp-intercontinental-championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recently crowned IWGP Intercontinental Champion<\/a> is still very much in sights.
