wXw<\/strong> returns to Oberhausen with a show concept that brings the legends of the ring to Germany. Mil Muertes, Christopher Daniels, Jay Lethal, Tenille Dashwood<\/strong> and so many more are in for this spectacular edition of Superstars of Wrestling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Francis Kaspin vs Alexander James<\/strong><\/p>\n

James has been part of his first 16 Carat<\/strong> this year. He lost to Chris Brookes<\/strong> in the first round, but wrestled good quality matches throughout the weekend and put his name on the map for future international bookings. Kaspin is one half of the team Jay-FK<\/strong>, where he pairs with\u00a0Jay Skillet<\/strong>. Kaspin is a former graduate of the wXw Academy<\/strong> where Skillet is also a coach. A fun warm-up match where the right winner could be brought into position for an opportunity in the future.<\/p>\n

Joey Mercury vs Dirty Dragan<\/strong><\/p>\n

Joey Mercury<\/strong> is a three-time WWE<\/strong> Tag Team Champion and was a member of the notorious Straight Edge Society<\/strong>. Before that, he teamed with Johnny Nitro<\/strong> (aka John Morrison<\/strong>) and Melina<\/strong> as part of the MNM<\/strong> stable.\u00a0Dirty Dragan<\/strong> has been changing the attitude of his character over the last several months. He was known as the drug dealer of Cerberus<\/strong>, a faction where the current wXw Unified World Champion Ilja Dragunov<\/strong> was also a member of. This match is part of a “Trial Series” for Dragan. This bout could end up being quite fast paced with some comedy elements in it. A good short opener to the Main Show will be greatly appreciated by the crowd.<\/p>\n

Emil Sitochi vs Billy Gunn<\/strong><\/p>\n

“And if you’re not down with that, we got two words for ya.” One of the most prominent names in wrestling that is still active, even at 54 years of age, the 11-time WWF\/E Tag Team Champion, Billy Gunn, is competing in top level matches. His most recent high-profile match was for NJPW<\/strong> where he faced Hiroshi Tanahashi<\/strong> at the G1 Special<\/strong> in the USA in July 2017. His opponent is a veteran of the wrestling business himself. With nearly 17-years of in-ring experience, the former wXw Shotgun Champion Emil Sitochi<\/strong> is not to be taken lightly by the former DX<\/strong> member.<\/p>\n

Jay Lethal vs Lucky Kid<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another former ROH<\/strong> World Champion, Jay Lethal<\/strong> faces one of the most promising young talents in wXw, the RISE<\/strong> member Lucky Kid<\/strong>. He recently faced Zack Sabre Jr<\/a>.<\/strong> in Frankfurt in a 23+ minute match that you need to watch on wXwNOW<\/strong>. Lucky was one of the fan favourites of 16 Carat and delivered astonishing performances every night. When it comes to astonishing performances Lethal is no stranger to those either. His feud with Ric Flair<\/strong> in TNA<\/strong><\/a> is one of the best of the past 15 years.<\/p>\n
