Here&#8217;s a run down of today&#8217;s card for <em><strong>PROGRESS Chapter 67: Bourbon Is Also A Biscuit<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Will Ospreay vs Austin Theory<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16916\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16916\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16916\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/04\/DZzBPaQWAAIw3PB-e1523109068224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16916\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Theory spent Chapter 66 in the Thunderbastard match.\u00a0 He would later go on to pull off the biggest win of\u00a0his career <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2018\/04\/06\/andnew-austin-theory-beats-keith-lee-for-wwn-championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">to capture the WWN Championship<\/a>.\u00a0 As we&#8217;ve said before, Theory is a star in the making and that much is clear just watching him.\u00a0 He takes on PROGRESS prodigal son the Aerial Assassin Will Ospreay.\u00a0 Ospreay is one to watch at the moment after his 5-star match with\u00a0<strong>Marty Scurll.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>This is a clash of two young wrestlers with big futures in this business.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Predictions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><em>Will Ospreay to win<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Chris Brookes vs Rey Horus<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16917\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16917\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16917\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/04\/DZzBPaKW4AAtU0O-e1523109113806.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16917\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>El Dragon Azteca from\u00a0<strong>Lucha Underground\u00a0<\/strong>makes an appearance in human form.\u00a0 Horus is an extremely talented luchador.\u00a0 His run in last years\u00a0<strong>Battle Of Los Angeles (BOLA)\u00a0<\/strong>proved he could work with the best indie wrestlers in the world and not look out of place.\u00a0 Brookes is the star of this show.\u00a0 CCK leader and a fantastic wrestler who never fails to deliver.\u00a0 The clash of styles\u00a0here could lead to a below average match but with the two men involved that is not likely to happen.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Predictions: <\/strong>Chris Brookes to win<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Jimmy Havoc, Mark Haskins &amp; Flash Morgan Webster vs Keith Lee, Matt Riddle &amp; David Starr<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16915\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16915\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16915\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/04\/DaJDHkUVMAALZTc-e1523109141604.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16915\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Unholy trinity finally gained another member in Webster.\u00a0 \u00a0Vicky Haskins had previously attempted to turn Webster to the dark side but his controversial defeat at <em>Chapter 65<\/em> was the straw that broke the camel&#8217;s back.\u00a0 The PROGRESS superteam has a long history together in fact.\u00a0 When Havoc was facing\u00a0<strong>British Strong Style\u00a0<\/strong>alone, it was Webster and Haskins that returned from injury to side with him.\u00a0 They face an o.k team.\u00a0 Nothing special about their opponents at all &#8211; apart from the &#8220;Limitless&#8221; Keith Lee and some former UFC fighter.\u00a0 Lee has filled in for\u00a0<strong>Jack Sexsmith\u00a0<\/strong>who had to go home for personal reasons.\u00a0 If you&#8217;ve never seen Keith Lee live you are in for a treat.\u00a0 His charisma is off the chain, his array of power moves are just sick and the fact he can take flight so well is just unfair.\u00a0 Starr is a man that knows his opponents well.\u00a0 Sexy Starr have been the main rivals for Havoc and Haskins lately.\u00a0 Final member of the team and star of the weekend, &#8220;BRO&#8221; Matt Riddle, \u00a0he&#8217;s had his own show, <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2018\/04\/05\/andnew-matt-riddle-wins-evolve-championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">won the EVOLVE championship<\/a>, is in this mega six man and probably has tonnes more lined up.\u00a0 Riddle perfectly mixes his UFC style with wrestling.\u00a0 His strikes look painful.\u00a0 He isn&#8217;t afraid to take a big chop or a big hit.\u00a0 And he uses his power so so well.\u00a0 This monstrous six-man will be non stop action and blow everyone away.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Predictions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><em>Jimmy Havoc, Mark Haskins &amp; Flash Morgan Webster to win<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>PROGRESS Women&#8217;s Championship Match: Toni Storm (c) vs Mercedes Martinez\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16914\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16914\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16914\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/04\/DaI4077VAAApZW1-e1523109269860.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16914\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In a trope as old as time, Martinez won a tag match against Storm&#8217;s team at <em>Chapter 66<\/em>.\u00a0 She then challenged Storm to a title match tonight.\u00a0 Martinez is a 17-year veteran that is a mainstay of the US indie scene.\u00a0 She finally got her big break by participating in the\u00a0<strong>Mae Young Classic\u00a0<\/strong>and doing really well.\u00a0 Had Martinez been coming into her prime now her career no doubt would&#8217;ve seen her become a much bigger name than she did.\u00a0 Her opponent is a true belt collector that wrestles all over the world.\u00a0 Toni Storm has charisma and ability in spades.\u00a0 She is a future WWE star and current indie wrestling star that has shined in\u00a0<strong>Stardom\u00a0<\/strong>and been pivotal in PROGRESS introducing a women&#8217;s division.\u00a0 Storm is currently heading to a big showdown with\u00a0<strong>Jinny\u00a0<\/strong>and the House Of Couture Martinez probably won&#8217;t be the one to end her historic reign.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Predictions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><em>Toni Storm to win and retain<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: #111111; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 22px;\">Number 1 Contenders Match: WALTER vs Zack Sabre Jr.<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16918\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16918\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16918\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/04\/DZZ3PmJX0AAz9mX-e1523109292707.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16918\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>WALTER has been wrestlings MVP of 2018 so far.\u00a0 His 90&#8217;s throwback style of chopping the ever-loving sh*t out of his opponents has been very entertaining.\u00a0 The big bad Austrian was always good but he&#8217;s really put it all together lately.\u00a0 ZSJ has also had a 2018 to remember.\u00a0 His run in the\u00a0<strong>New Japan Cup\u00a0<\/strong>made him a star in Japan and his match with\u00a0<strong>Kazuchika Okada\u00a0<\/strong>has received\u00a0rave reviews.\u00a0 As for who will win, WALTER made his presence felt at Chapter 65 when\u00a0<strong>Travis Banks\u00a0<\/strong>claimed to be unbeatable.\u00a0 But ZSJ is a perennial main eventer in PROGRESS and is always in the title hunt.\u00a0 Regardless, this will be one of the best matches of the weekend with WALTER caving in Zack&#8217;s chest.\u00a0 Leading to Jack bending WALTER into a pretzel in return.\u00a0 Still though, WALTER&#8217;s gonna kill him.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Predictions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><em>WALTER to win<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>PROGRESS World Championship Match:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Travis Banks (c) vs Jeff Cobb<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16913\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16913\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16913\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/04\/DaIp8ydWsAALhc5-e1523109313859.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16913\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PROGRESS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Banks retained against\u00a0<strong>Shane Strickland\u00a0<\/strong>at Chapter 66.\u00a0 Cobb, on the other hand, bested 7 men to win the Thunderbastard.\u00a0 He is cashing in his title shot already to challenge Banks for his title.\u00a0 Banks has slowly become a heel as fans got sick of his reign.\u00a0 To many fans, he faced the same people, had average matches and was unbeatable like\u00a0<strong>John Cena.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>The crowd turned on him for these reasons and at Chapter 65 he finally went full heel.\u00a0 And wow is it amazing.\u00a0 Remember\u00a0<strong>NXT Champion Bo Dallas<\/strong>? Imagine that but with a smug Kiwi and you have Hell champion Banks.\u00a0 Despite the size differential Banks will favour himself.\u00a0 His opponent &#8220;Mr Athletic&#8221; won&#8217;t like the cockiness of the champ.\u00a0 Before\u00a0<strong>Keith Lee\u00a0<\/strong>there was Cobb.\u00a0 He has an amazing array of power moves but is surprisingly athletic.\u00a0 Cobb makes a great opponent for Banks as Banks won&#8217;t have to hold back.\u00a0 And well we all want to see Banks get flung around the ring.\u00a0 As historic as a title change would be I don&#8217;t see PROGRESS making the switch here.\u00a0 But will it be clean?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Predictions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><em>Travis Banks to win and retain<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Day 2 of PROGRESS in the US.\u00a0 As the shows are so close together this article will contain spoilers to anyone not in the audience for Chapter 66.
