The temperature has been rising in the NXT locker room and ring. Lola Vice reminded her that Grey is the Champion because she defeated Vice one night. She was the better woman one night only. Grey beat her in a match, but she won&#8217;t beat her in a fight. Grey found the idea perfect because that would be a good way for her to prove herself as a Champion. Parker\u2019s knee became compromised thanks to a chop block and a Dragon Screw.<\/p>\n<p>However, she returned the favor by sending Nattie knee-first into the steel steps. Adding insult to injury, Parker locked in the infamous Sharpshooter, and out of nowhere <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WWE\/status\/2079734458068926553\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the towel was thrown in on Nattie\u2019s behalf<\/a><\/span>. The battle was as brutal as it was personal as the two clashed on the outside, highlighted by a massive running powerslam from Vance. Spears used his veteran savvy to stay in the match, and even got a boost from Lizzy Rain, who took out Izzi Dame at ringside. The challenger started the match by battering the champion with several weapons, including steel chairs, kendo sticks, the ring steps, and even a trash can.<\/p>\n<p>The Champion withstood the early onslaught, but an Enter The Abyss on the outside followed by a huge slam through the table spelled trouble for D\u2019Angelo. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/WWE\/status\/2079745917138129343\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Naraku went for the mist<\/a><\/span>, but D\u2019Angelo blocked it, then shoved his poison-covered hands in the challenger\u2019s face before bashing him with a kendo stick.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/WWE\/status\/2079746554747879612\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">D\u2019Angelo<\/a><\/span> proceeded to drag Naraku onto the steel steps and plant him with Dead To Rights through a table, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/WWE\/status\/2079748370105545171\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">retaining his title to a standing ovation<\/a><\/span>. The proof was in the pudding this week with a mind-blowing episode. I rarely write that I have nothing to say on a show, but that&#8217;s the case this week. Every match was good, if not excellent. Lola Vice&#8217;s challenge in the Underground was expected, but welcomed. Reina Volcan is gigantic.<\/p>\n<p>And there&#8217;s the arrival of the man I used to call Mike Santana (the fact that NXT said &#8220;a new superstar&#8221; probably means his name will change). I&#8217;ve followed him since I started writing on wrestling, and I&#8217;m very proud I will be able to continue. Believe in the Nygma, Santana is a <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2025\/12\/20\/from-tna-slammiversary-to-tna-bound-for-glory-an-inspiring-and-inspired-mike-santana\/\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">great human being<\/a><\/span>, a <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2025\/10\/07\/mike-santana-the-future-tna-world-champion-and-the-future-of-tna-wrestling\/\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">talented wrestler<\/a><\/span>, and a <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2025\/10\/12\/mike-santana-brings-the-tna-world-title-back-home-at-tna-bound-for-glory-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">true Champion<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Well, this new era of NXT is as exciting as it can be surprising. Of course, I keep on exploring the NXT world through the NXTNA \u201ccold war.\u201d Wendy Choo will appear on TNA iMPACT this week in the TNA Knockouts Television title tournament, when Thea Hail won her first-round match last week.
