The next few weeks will be\u00a0very busy\u00a0for\u00a0the Judgment\u00a0Day. Women\u2019s World Champion Liv Morgan will face Iyo Sky at SummerSlam after weeks of tension. Dominik Mysterio will also be at SummerSlam, facing\u00a0Danhausen\u00a0after Monday\u2019s show turned into torment for the faction<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Raquel Rodriguez will face Sol Ruca for the WWE Women\u2019s Intercontinental Championship next Monday.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0clear that if things go right for them,\u00a0they could be rid of Danhausen\u2019s curse as well as draped in championship gold. But if things go wrong, WWE should break up\u00a0the Judgment\u00a0Day for good. <\/span><\/p>\n

The past few weeks for\u00a0them have been\u00a0completely\u00a0miserable. Mysterio and JD McDonagh have been in a cartoonish feud\u00a0with Danhausen, Rodriguez keeps losing championship matches, Morgan\u00a0hasn\u2019t\u00a0defended her title\u00a0once since she won it from Stephanie Vaquer<\/a> at WrestleMania: Vegas, and Roxanne Perez\u00a0hasn\u2019t\u00a0won a match since April.\u00a0Splitting them up should be the right decision moving forward if they are all unsuccessful at SummerSlam.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Judgment Day Could Still Be Redeemed<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

There have been countless times where fans have been certain that wrestlers and factions are done for. Sometimes that happens, but\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0not always the case. Rodriguez could shock everyone and take the Women\u2019s IC title off Ruca next Monday. Mysterio could figure out Danhausen\u2019s curses, getting the bag of money back alongside<\/span> McDonagh.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Perez could help Morgan\u00a0retain\u00a0her title at SummerSlam. Things might be downcast for the Judgment Day now, but one small victory could set off a chain reaction to get the faction\u00a0up and running again. <\/span><\/p>\n

The one thing\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0good about\u00a0the Judgment\u00a0Day is that they always have each other\u2019s backs.\u00a0They\u2019re\u00a0constantly interfering in each other\u2019s matches\u00a0in order to\u00a0get the win. If they can keep that up for the next few weeks, they could walk out of SummerSlam with championship gold and\u00a0the\u00a0bag of money.\u00a0The Judgment\u00a0Day\u00a0have\u00a0had a rough few weeks, but their loyalty could turn their luck around very quickly.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Each Member is Better Off by Themselves<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Sometimes factions get split up at the wrong time, leading to massive controversy among the fans. However, looking at the Judgment Day\u2019s booking over the last few months, splitting them up after SummerSlam would be the right call. Mysterio is the AAA Mega Champion, but\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0enlisting the help of El Grande Americano<\/a> in AAA instead of\u00a0his faction mates. <\/span><\/p>\n

McDonagh\u00a0has been running around with Danhausen\u00a0instead of chasing championships. Morgan’s\u00a0last\u00a0title\u00a0match was 5 PLE\u2019s ago. Perez has been an afterthought as well, as she has never\u00a0challenged for\u00a0a singles title since being called up last year. <\/span><\/p>\n

The members of the faction choose to stick together, preventing themselves from challenging for major titles. They never step outside their comfort zone, which is why the faction has gotten stale. McDonagh and Perez were especially great in NXT as singles competitors. Letting everyone go their separate ways will benefit their careers, as the other faction members won\u2019t weigh them down.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Is it Time to Let\u00a0the\u00a0Judgment\u00a0Day\u00a0Go?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Right now, there\u2019s a lot of potential for things to go right at SummerSlam for Morgan and Mysterio. Getting the bag of money and retaining the Women\u2019s World Championship will boost morale and give them much-needed wins. The same thing could be said for Rodriguez when she faces Ruca. But sometimes letting things continue instead of letting go does way more damage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Former NXT title holders in McDonagh and Perez are running around in cartoon feuds and\u00a0have been\u00a0losing matches<\/a> for months.\u00a0<\/span>Rodriguez has lost four title opportunities in a row since December, with a no-contest between her first and second losses. Mysterio has obviously prioritized AAA over Raw. Morgan is in no rush to defend her title, going over 100 days without defending it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They are all\u00a0way worse off\u00a0than they were even a few months ago.
