WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event<\/a> in Madison Square Garden<\/a> was a loaded card, and this included the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match between Fatal Influence, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, taking on the champions Brie Bella and Paige. Suffice it to say, the legends had a tough time tonight as the duo asserted their dominance in New York City.<\/p>\n

Fatal Influence Takes Titles at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event<\/h2>\n

Paige and Brie Bella have had a magical run since the former came back to WWE after a long time away at WrestleMania 42<\/a>. Paige looked better than ever, and Brie has been putting on the run of a lifetime. For the past three months, these two have taken on all comers, big and small, and have come away unscathed, once again proving why they belong in the current landscape of WWE.<\/p>\n

That said, immediately after their win, Jacy Jayne, Lainey Reid, and Fallon Henley would enter the SmackDown domain<\/a>, smashing through the competition in no time at all. The group was, and is, poised to be one of the top players in WWE. Unfortunately for Brie Bella and Paige, Henley and Reid took the first step in their takeover by becoming #AndNEW WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.<\/p>\n

It was a pretty evenly-contested match throughout. But then, Paige got isolated. The tides would turn when Brie Bella got into the match, hitting Brie Mode Knees to both Reid and Henley, even putting an exclamation point on this hot tag by executing a killer Missile Dropkick on Henley.<\/p>\n

However, Jacy Jayne would be the difference-maker. Twice in this match, Jayne cost Bella and Paige momentum, with the final one being the nail in the coffin. Henley would deck Paige with a Flying Lariat. As Reid looked to capitalize, running at Paige in the corner, Paige would sidestep it, sending Reid into the steel post. Paige was going to roll her up for the O’Connor Roll, but Fallon would hold on to Lainey’s arms on the outside.<\/p>\n

Once Brie took out Fallon, Paige would continue the roll, only for Jacy to grab her hair, allowing Reid to shift momentum and grab the tights to pin Paige, allowing her and Fallon Henley to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.<\/p>\n
