Considering the disdain that has developed between the two monsters, the Devil&#8217;s Playground is the ideal setting for their final clash.<\/p>\n<p>Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar III inside Hell in a Cell will certainly be a brutal and memorable war. If booked correctly, it might be the match of the year. Nonetheless, Femi and Lesnar have high standards to live up to because WWE has produced several classics inside the cell over the last few decades.<\/p>\n<p>On that note, let&#8217;s look at 5 Hell in a Cell matches you must rewatch. Considering the long list of matches that have occurred, it is worth noting a few honorable mentions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels at Badd Blood 1997: In Your House<\/li>\n<li>Triple H vs. Cactus Jack at No Way Out 2000<\/li>\n<li>The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton at Armageddon 2005<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>#5. The Undertaker vs. Mankind at King of the Ring 1998<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>It&#8217;s impossible to talk about Hell in a Cell without mentioning The Undertaker. The Phenom ruled the Devil&#8217;s Playground. His list of victims is long, including WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley. At King of the Ring 1998, Taker defeated Mankind, Foley&#8217;s most sadistic character, in one of the most <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=z-T-mQTUUjg\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">historic matches<\/a> of the Attitude Era.<\/p>\n<p>Foley is the Hardcore Legend. As such, he was always willing to put his body on the line. However, Mankind had to endure unbearable damage at the hands of The Undertaker at King of the Ring 1998. The match started atop the cell, which turned out to be disastrous for the Hardcore Legend.<\/p>\n<p>Taker sent Mankind crashing through the announce table from 20 feet above atop the cell. This memorable spot was immortalized. A normal man would have given up, but Foley came back for more. Unfortunately, there was still plenty of punishment left for Mankind to endure.<\/p>\n<p>Near the end, the Phenom Chokeslammed Mankind through the roof of the cell. The ring was damaged beyond repair. The Undertaker and Edge Ended Their Epic Feud Inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam 2008<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The historic rivalry between Edge and The Undertaker dominated SmackDown for the majority of 2007 and 2008. Initially, it was about the World Heavyweight Championship, but it eventually turned personal as both men attempted to end each other&#8217;s careers. For a rivalry so deeply personal, Hell in a Cell was the perfect setting for the finale.<\/p>\n<p>This match was the perfect blend of top-tier storytelling and brutal action. It had its fair share of memorable spots. Highlights included Edge Spearing The Undertaker through the cell panel, Taker&#8217;s Chokeslam through two tables, and the epic climax.<\/p>\n<p>The climax was a throwback to the significant moments of their feud. Taker Speared the Ultimate Opportunist, struck him with a camera, and nearly decapitated Edge with a con-chair-to. In the end, the Phenom pinned the Rated-R Superstar after hitting one final Tombstone Piledriver.<\/p>\n<p>Taker wasn&#8217;t finished, as he wanted to make his rival suffer for all the pain he had caused him over the past year. The Deadman finished Edge off with a Chokeslam through the canvas. He posed with the flames that engulfed the collapsed canvas. However, it was the storytelling that immortalized this encounter. Shawn Michaels&#8217; mixed emotions and Triple H&#8217;s desperation added to the energy. The Sweet Chin Music and Pedigree combo led to the greatest nearfall as Taker kicked out at the last millisecond.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, Taker put away a defiant HHH with a Tombstone Piledriver. After the match, the Phenom broke character as the three men embraced and soaked in the crowd&#8217;s adulation on the Mania stage. The American Nightmare defeated Rollins at Mania and WrestleMania Backlash 2022. Unfortunately, Rhodes tore his pectoral muscle a few days before the namesake PLE, casting doubt over the status of his match. In a surprising but welcome twist, the American Nightmare, who was dealing with a gruesome injury that left the crowd appalled, stepped into the cell with Rollins.<\/p>\n<p>The Visionary had already gotten under Rhodes&#8217; skin by wearing a polka-dotted outfit. One would think that the two men would dial back on the violence, but we couldn&#8217;t have been more wrong. The injured pic was the focus of Rollins&#8217; attack. Kendo sticks, Sledgehammers, weight belts, and buckle belts were all brought into the match at some point.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, Rhodes pulled off a Herculean effort by following up two consecutive Cross Rhodes with a sledgehammer shot to the skull for the win. The American Nightmare showed his dedication and loyalty at <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2022\/06\/12\/takeaways-hell-in-a-cell-2022\/\" target=\"_self\">Hell in a Cell 2022<\/a>. The hatred was palpable as neither man held back on their insults, attacks, and schemes. The harrowing war delivered on every expectation as both engaged in a blood-soaked war. McIntyre embarrassed his opponent by dumping bracelet beads on him.<\/p>\n<p>The climax saw Punk avoid the Claymore and stuff the beads in McIntyre&#8217;s mouth. The Chicago native wrapped a steel chain around his knee and hit one last GTS to finish off the Scottish Warrior.
