The last couple of months have been intense for the members of the\u00a0Anoa\u2019i\u00a0family tree. In April, JC\u00a0Mateo and Tonga Loa\u00a0got released, leaving MFT only as Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. Around that time, Roman Reigns became the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, defeating CM Punk. He then recruited Jey and Jimmy Uso, and later Jacob Fatu,<\/a> after he defeated them at Clash in Italy. MFT has been circling Reigns\u2019 Bloodline, telling Fatu to be careful about Reigns and the Usos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, tension within MFT has been escalating over the past couple of months. Tama has had some conflict with Sikoa, with the latter costing the former and Talla their match on the June 19, 2026, episode of Friday Night SmackDown. He then cost Jimmy his match against LA Knight on the June 22 Monday Night Raw. Does Sikoa think MFT is done, or does he think looking for another confrontation with Reigns and the Usos will bring them together?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Solo Sikoa Sees the Writing on the Wall with MFT<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

MFT was created after WrestleMania XL and, for two years, had an impressive run in WWE. Now the group is just a simple tag team with Sikoa as their manager, creating tension between Sikoa and the Tongas. <\/span><\/p>\n

It was directly mentioned that they didn\u2019t want Sikoa interfering in the match last Friday, which led to the loss when he appeared to help them, causing them to get distracted and lose. When he cost Jimmy his match<\/a> on Monday, there were no signs of Talla or Tama.<\/span><\/p>\n

He did what he did on his own without any help. He knows how his family operates. Going on a mission alone not only shows his confidence in facing his family, but also shows that he feels MFT as a group is coming to a close. Perhaps that will have some major story implications over the next couple of weeks. WWE is teasing a major storyline shift within MFT, which could lead to the dissolution of the faction.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He Wants to Break Up Reigns\u2019 Bloodline for Good<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

There is obvious tension between Sikoa and the Tongas. But there is more tension between him and the members of Reigns\u2019 Bloodline. He and Reigns battled it out several times, with Reigns getting the Ula Fala on the Raw on Netflix premiere. Fatu directly betrayed him at Money in the Bank last year, starting his current singles run with a huge rivalry between them<\/a>. The\u00a0Usos\u00a0are his actual brothers, so\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0clear he\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0happy with them\u00a0joining up with\u00a0Reigns.<\/span><\/p>\n

He can deal with Talla and Tama more easily than he can with his actual family. Things can be smoothed over with a conversation, allowing the three of them to be a team once again. <\/span><\/p>\n

He\u2019s probably hoping that they will see Reigns\u2019 bloodline as a threat, prompting them to stop their disagreements. Only with unity will they stop them successfully. If they break up, Sikoa will unfortunately have to face his family alone, which could lead to some disastrous consequences.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What Will His Next Move Be?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The June 26 episode of SmackDown will be a very interesting one for Sikoa. Talla and Tama have heard about the attack on Jimmy. They could see the move as further dividing MFT, leading to more tension. But they could also recognize that Reigns\u2019 Bloodline will be searching for retaliation towards Sikoa. With Reigns definitely getting word about what happened on Monday, there\u2019s no doubt that he isn\u2019t happy either.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All the fighting over the\u00a0last few\u00a0weeks has been hurting them.\u00a0If\u00a0Reigns\u00a0decides to attack MFT,\u00a0they\u2019ll\u00a0have no choice but to\u00a0put their differences aside.\u00a0But that can only\u00a0happen\u00a0if Talla and Tama want\u00a0to\u00a0help. Based on last Friday\u2019s showing<\/a>, there\u2019s still a lot of resentment between them. <\/span><\/p>\n

Either Sikoa\u2019s attack on Jimmy is a sign that he\u2019s going to leave or a signal to bring the three men together again. No matter what happens, his next move will be extremely important to the status of MFT.<\/span><\/p>\n
