Receiving a World Championship match at SummerSlam ups the ante for this match, but it also contains several possibilities. Liv Morgan is already a champion, so does she challenge Rhea Ripley? A woman that she has oodles of history with. Or does she go full heel and challenge no one, threatening to take SummerSlam off?<\/p>\n

If IYO SKY were to win the crown, where does WWE go? \u00a0A match with Rhea Ripley makes sense, but do they do the friends angle, or turn Iyo Sky heel and push the envelope even further? Or does this Queen of the Ring final give us a preview of the World Championship match at the Biggest Party of the Summer? Many questions will be answered when the bell rings.<\/p>\n

Does The Ruler Wear The Crown? Or Will Jey Uso Incited A Riot \u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Oba Femi has been the favorite to win King of the Ring 2026 since the tournament began. His star is on the rise, and he has been booked like an absolute monster since making his way to the main roster. It\u2019s no shock that he bullied his way to the King of the Ring finals, and if the crowd had their way, he would be the one wearing the crown at the end of the night. It\u2019s the smart play for WWE, but is it the one that they will go with?<\/p>\n

Jey Uso has returned to the Bloodline and wrestled his way into the King of the Ring 2026 finals<\/a>, much to the dismay of the WWE Universe. The crowd hasn\u2019t been very receptive to Uso\u2019s victories, and they could be further incensed when he wins the King of the Ring.<\/p>\n

It seems like a logical step to have crowd favorite Oba Femi win over Uso, but there are more factors at play here. Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar are tied at one victory apiece in their program, and a rubber match is almost assuredly on the docket. SummerSlam is in Minnesota, making it the perfect place to settle these issues.<\/p>\n

The best way to get there? Having Brock Lesnar cost Oba Femi, the King of the Ring, thus handing it to Uso on a silver platter. Whether it happens or not is another story altogether; only by watching Night of Champions will we find out.<\/p>\n

An Iconic Triple Threat Match <\/strong><\/h2>\n

As far as triple-threat matches go, there may not be a better one than the one we will witness at Night of Champions. WWE has done a great job of building two compelling stories and then interweaving them ahead of this WWE Championship showdown.<\/p>\n

Cody Rhodes and Gunther have been engaged in a battle of one-upmanship for a few months now, with Gunther getting the short end of the stick. His complaints have been justified and have been further compounded by the inclusion of Sami Zayn. Sami Zayn has also experienced a character change, becoming the heel that works so well for him. His fence sitting has been fantastic and has infuriated the WWE Champion. Once he was pushed into the WWE Championship match on SmackDown<\/a>, we knew that this triple threat was on the horizon.<\/p>\n

The action will be great on Saturday, and the stories that WWE has built in preparation for this contest will bring it to another level. Night of Champions will provide the wrestling world with a fantastic triple threat that could rival any that have come before it.<\/p>\n
