Former title holder Willow Nightingale’s past tag team partner, Harley Cameron, takes on Death Riders’ Marina Shafir in a qualifying match. Erstwhile, Queen Aminata takes on ROH World Women’s TV Champion Red Velvet in another qualifier. BroDido unites with CMLL’s Mistico in trios action against the Death Riders.

While Kenny Omega faces NJPW’s Zack Sabre Jr, their teammates engage in tag action. That’s right, Nick and Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks tackle TMDK’s Mikey Nicholls and Bad Dude Tito. Former NJPW World Television Champion El Phantasmo clashes for the first time in years against Will Ospreay. Of course, following last week’s drama between Ospreay and Swerve Strickland, the latter takes on his estranged friend’s ally, Daniel Garcia of the Death Riders.

Where is AEW Dynamite Tonight?

AEW Dynamite airs live tonight, from the Rio Rancho Events Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

What Time is AEW Dynamite Tonight?

HBO Max and the TBS Network air AEW Dynamite live tonight at 8 PM ET.

AEW Dynamite Quick Results

Death Riders defeated Mistico & BroDido

Harley Cameron defeated Marina Shafir

Will Ospreay defeated El Phantasmo

Swerve Strickland defeated Daniel Garcia

Results From AEW Dynamite Tonight (6/24/26)

Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, & Claudio Castagnoli) defeated Mistico & BroDido (Brody King & Bandido)

Yuta stuck it through Bandido’s speed and agility, eventually trapping him in a Single-Leg Boston Crab. Bandido responded with a series of arm drags. Moxley grounded the luchador, thus allowing Castagnoli to stomp a mudhole in him by their corner. Mistico surprised Castagnoli with a Springboard Back Elbow. The giant Death Rider retaliated with a Backbreaker. Much like a cyclone, Mistico recuperated with an extended spinning hurricanrana. King met Castagnoli for an elbow exchange. BroDido and Mistico propelled the Death Riders into the outside barricade a la Tope Suicidas.

Death Riders isolated Bandido across the ring from his partners, running a train on him in their turnbuckle. Bandido fired back with chops and a dropkick. Mistico sent Yuta and Castagnoli flying with hurricanranas, with a Mexican Destroyer on the latter. Moxley leapt on King’s back but found himself in the corner, falling victim to a Cannonball. After Moxley dispatched Bandido and Mistico, King thundered back with a lariat. Marina Shafir distracted King, leading Castagnoli to whallop him with Moxley’s AEW Continental Championship. Moxley stole the win with a roll-up.

Match review: Excellent spots here. King hit a backflip arm drag off the ropes that betrayed his stature. The Death Riders have nice chemistry with BroDido and Mistico.

Team Briscoe spoke

Renee Paquette asked the Conglomeration, Darby Allin, and Konosuke Takeshita how they felt ahead of Forbidden Door. While they were semi-doubtful, they expressed that they’d put everything they had into the match against Team MJF. Kyle O’Reilly hinted that Mark Briscoe would have something in store for the weekend. Paquette asked Orange Cassidy if he was alright, to which he responded with “It’s fine”. The two grimaced and walked away.

Marina Shafir defeated Harley Cameron

Cameron came to the ring in gear, paying homage to DC’s upcoming Supergirl film.

Shafir ambushed Cameron mid-entrance, but couldn’t keep it up as she fell prey to a dropkick and flying crossbody. Catching Cameron on the top turnbuckle, Shafir flung her over with a Death Valley Driver. The Death Rider peppered her opponent with kicks. Cameron caught some luck with a roundhouse kick and a splash in the corner. Reinvigorated, Cameron barreled into Shafir, a mistake it seemed, as Shafir kneed her midsection. Cameron rebounded with a Single-Leg Boston Crab. Shafir snatched her in for a Rear Naked Choke, which Cameron pivoted into an inside cradle.

Match review: Cameron’s noticeably improved, and she seems to have regained her confidence after that botch that took out Penelope Ford months ago. That’s awesome, as was her gear and her upset win. Go Harley!

Mercedes Mone Forbidden Door vignette

Mone confidently laid out her motivations for winning the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Regardless of Maya World’s winning streak or recent tragedies, the CEO seemed to indicate she was looking past World.

Will Ospreay defeated El Phantasmo

Phantasmo tied up Ospreay after multiple standstills, but instead, both men wriggled out of each strike and grappling. Each stalemate left Phantasmo feeling cocky, leaving him unaware of Ospreay’s dropkick and crossbody outside. A moonsault tilted the trajectory of the match towards Phantasmo’s advantage.

Ospreay snuck in a Stundog Millionaire, to which Phantasmo countered with a stunner. The pair went back and forth with punches until Ospreay struck with a forearm. A flurry of moves transpired, with Ospreay snapping in a Spanish Fly. Phantasmo subverted Ospreay’s Hidden Blade into a roll-up. Ospreay finished him off with a Hidden Blade.

Match review: This was a thrill ride. Had it not been for the New Mexico crowd and arena, I would’ve mistaken this for a match at Korakuen Hall or Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Hall. Ospreay confidently drew from his NJPW roots.

Swerve Strickland defeated Daniel Garcia

Strickland anchored Garcia to the mat following a slap to the face, resulting in a stomp to the midsection. Garcia screamed in agony as Strickland raked his fingernails down his back. The young Death Rider slipped Strickland into the ring curtain to weaken the leg. Outside, things looked dire for Strickland, but a House Call connected, dropping Garcia into the barricade.

Garcia ducked a Swerve Stomp, zeroing in on the softened leg. Strickland bounced back with a brainbuster. Enduring a procession of insults, an irate Garcia decapitated Strickland with a lariat. Garcia slipped in an Ankle Lock, which Stricland evaded with an elbow. Strickland devastated Garcia with a Powerslam. Readying for another House Call, Strickland collapsed on his weak leg. However, he managed to puncture Garcia with another House Call. Strickland mocked Will Ospreay, wounding Garcia with a Hidden Blade for the pinfall.

Post-match: Strickland tied up Garcia, ready to hurt him some more. Ospreay dashed in to his aid. Before he could unleash a Hidden Blade, Prince Nana tripped him up. Strickland sought a Vertebreaker, but Garcia sacrificed himself for it instead.

Match preview: These two wrestled like they knew each other inside and out. Moreover, this polished Garcia up quite nicely with these nearfalls.

Team MJF promo

A quick vignette for Mark Briscoe played. Don Callis boasted all of the roster for Team MJF under his employ, where most of the members took turns speaking. MJF denied Andrade El Idolo a chance to speak. Both MJF and Callis barked at Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta to leave. They then celebrated with a risque portrait of themselves in speedos, much to the Don Callis Family’s disgust.

AEW Dynamite results and live updates from the Rio Rancho Events Center in Rio Rancho, NM, tonight will be available throughout the show.
