WWE NXT’s event to kick off the summer is approaching. The Great American Bash will take place on Sunday, June 28th, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Championship matches are already taking place at the event, and next week on NXT, these matches will be made official.<\/p>\n

Over the past few weeks, we have seen the emergence of Tristan Angels on WWE NXT. Through his presence, he has forced everyone to know his name. After the other week, you can now call him Mr. NXT. Evolve Champion, Aaron Rourke, was one of the judges for the Mr. NXT competition, and his vote was for Shiloh Hill. Last week, Angels and Rourke had an interaction in the locker room about their disagreements in the Mr. NXT decision.<\/p>\n

This backstage interaction<\/a> is what led to Tristan Angels receiving an Evolve Championship match<\/a>. Angels will have the opportunity to capture his first belt alongside the WWE. Since Evolve has only recently been reignited, there have only ever been two Evolve Champions. These two champions are Jackson Drake and Aaron Rourke. Do you think Tristan Angels will join that list? Two NXT Championship Contract Signings<\/h2>\n

Great American Bash snuck up on us fast as it will be taking place this coming Sunday night. Two of the largest matches on that card are the ones for the Men’s and Women’s NXT Championships. The current NXT Champions are Tony D’Angelo and Lola Vice. Come Sunday, they will be facing Naraku and Kendal Grey each in singles competition. Both competitors have also found fast success being in NXT. Will the success and hard work of Naraku and Grey be enough to put away the champions for a three-count?<\/p>\n

Vice and D’Angelo have also proven to be fighting champions and don’t look to give up their title anytime soon. They both seem to have respect for their opponents, but at the end of the day they all want to leave with gold around their waist. Next week on NXT, we will see the contract signing for both Tony D’Angelo vs. Naraku and Lola Vice vs. Kendal Grey. Contract signings in professional wrestling<\/a> are notorious for ending in brawls between the opponents. Do you think these contract signings will have the same outcome?
